I also didn't try out Epic Mickey but from a review I read before, there are some failures. But from the concept arts shown here in this topic, I must say I quite like them. :D

I haven't played it a lot but since I've seen a lot of good opinions today about Epic Mickey and I liked the gameplay I saw in youtube, then I'll get it  I'll tell you what my opinion is when I get it

Am I the only one that liked the game!? :?

The story was superior, and much better than 99% of the games these days. The actual work put into this is amazing, but you might not even notice it. Mickey's behavior, music, images seen during loading, and the ending are all based on the way you play the game. No relay value? If I have played the game and been good, then I can go back and play a more difficult game in which I can collect the rest of the items and see many different happening as I am not acting the way I was in my first try.

The creature was based on the Phantom Blot.

However, I must agree on the choice of ''forgotten'' characters. In the Netherlands, comics are made daily in which I can find Horace, Clarabelle, Phatom Blot, and a few others. This game is American, and apparently Dinseyland is the only remaining Disney in this country.

I also found the music beautiful. It was composed by someone who has also worked together with Hans Zimmer. Except for some minor camera problems, I really didn't see any trouble in this game.

EDIT:

From what I’ve heard, the concept art is far superior to the game, largely thanks to the decision to make it a Wii exclusive.
One of the main reason it was a Wii exclusive was becaus XBox and PS fans were already complaining about it when the first news had just appeared. :tssk: Plus, I don't see why the Wii sucks so much, as I don't suddenly think ''OMG! HD IS SO AMAZIN!! IT LOOKS LIKE ITS 3D! NO! IM IN THE GAME! IM PLAYIN DA FUTURE!!! F*CK F*CK F*CK F*CK WII! IMA SONY LOVAH!!!''. No, HD isn't what games are about.

People are way too negative these days. :tssk:

Ah, that's a nice idea for having Rayman Origins return to its own topic. :P

Anyways, I found this description of how Ubisoft is going to handle the problem of Rayman 4 and the story based on the RRR events, you must decide what you think about it. Perhaps it's good:
spiraldoor wrote:DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT RABBIDS.

They don't canonically exist. Rayman is currently relaxing in the Glade of Dreams with Globox and Ly and his other friends. He has been doing so since he beat Reflux. Rayman has never heard the word "rabbid". He has never even fought them, the events in RRR1 did not happen. Or in RRR2 . Or in the upcoming RRR3. The platforming games happened. The Rabbids games didn't
That was two years ago. Apparently I find Spiral much more interesting and fun to read posts from back in the beginning, but that's not my point.

^wow, spiral said that? heh...that's lame. He's just falling in denial. Rabbids existed in Rayman's universe, open your f*cking eyes, kid.

Actually, reviews are right, the game is good, but not enought to suck it's dick. Also, the replay value is terrible for one single reason, when you complete the game (it's impossible to get all of the medals with only one try) you can't explore the whole world to find the missing medals, nope, you keep with the medals that you've got, but you have to FIND all of the medals that you've forgot restarting the whole game. Yeah, just after you see the ending, guess what? back at the mad scientist's lab! And that's not the worst part, you have to make the opposite decisions to the decisions that you made the last time (for example, helping peter or helping a gremlin?). I've just made a mistake and chose the same decision from the last time because it looks like EVERYTHING IN THIS GAME, seriously, EVERY SINGLE SMALL MISTAKE changes completely your path, and you can't do anything because this shit auto-saves! so when I got to the wrong way, I figured out that I forgot a medal, and I have to beat the WHOLE GAME to go back and get it, playing the F*CKING GAME FOR THE THIRD F*CKING TIME!!!

*sigh* sorry... this game was great, but it's replay value is just shit if you want to complete it at 100%, is frustrating and almost impossible, and gets annoying too fast.

LULZ. It could be for all the people who've only read the last 2 pages know! :mickey: Ok but seriously back on topic guys-

I have no idea what to say :mefiant: ...hmm...

I know we already closed this case-but I just wanted to reopen it as a joke, what if the Granny and Mr. Dark are the same person? Maybe a teensie sex change gone wrong, that's why Mr. Dark wears the cloak, to hide his horribly disfigured body? :pfff:

Or, Mrs. Dark...
