I have no idea what to say :mefiant: ...hmm...

I know we already closed this case-but I just wanted to reopen it as a joke, what if the Granny and Mr. Dark are the same person? Maybe a teensie sex change gone wrong, that's why Mr. Dark wears the cloak, to hide his horribly disfigured body? :pfff:

Or, Mrs. Dark...
Maybe the The granny's husband got mad at rayman for scaring him and transformed into Old Man Mr. Dark! :fou2:
That's a better conclusion, still not perfect

Maybe...it sucks how that guy revealed the final boss, but if just one person had only said: "Don't watch that last interview, he revealed the final boss", instead of people going "So that pink million eyed monster is gonna be the final boss?" "It's called Big Mama, that big pink monster, also the final boss."

Me too...hey I was thinking, I think I might open up a sprite shop. You know, so I can get a few more Tings, it'll be cheaper than most of the ones around, (lets hope that makes up for my lack of skill. LOL jokes.) I'll probably have it for Banners, Signatures, maybe some other stuff if I get some ideas...

We'll have to wait and see! Hey what forum do Sig shops go in? Rayman Artworks? Beebo44= Idiot.

I like how they're using the blue spikes from first game and adapting them for different environments (yellow from Desert of Didgeridoos) , while keeping the original forget-me-not blue. (Desert of Didgeridoos.)

Maybe it's only me, but I wouldn't even think about that. Just... look at this guy. When his wife is nagging and stuff, he sleeps like a baby, not giving a fuck.
Maybe she's not his wife, maybe something like... sister? Cousin? Y'know, OLD PEOPLE DON'T LIKE TO BE ALONE. Well, at least some of 'em.

Maybe... maybe Mr. Dark used to be a regular Teensie before, but, jealous of Polokus's power, he managed somehow to steal the Magic Bubble Pipe, flipped his shit while using it and noticing it does not work as he wanted (or using it wrong), and became ZE BAD GUY.

Louve, stop drinking so much coffee, you start to talk rubbish.

One of the main reason it was a Wii exclusive was becaus XBox and PS fans were already complaining about it when the first news had just appeared. :tssk: Plus, I don't see why the Wii sucks so much, as I don't suddenly think ''OMG! HD IS SO AMAZIN!! IT LOOKS LIKE ITS 3D! NO! IM IN THE GAME! IM PLAYIN DA FUTURE!!! F*CK F*CK F*CK F*CK WII! IMA SONY LOVAH!!!''. No, HD isn't what games are about.

People are way too negative these days. :tssk:
I love your hilariously negative overreaction. What do you mean when you say that the game was made a Wii exclusive because Xbox and PlayStation gamers were ‘complaining’ about it? That makes no sense, and I highly doubt that it’s true; please provide some sources to back this claim up. I’m not bashing the Wii, which is the conclusion you gleefully leapt to; I am simply commenting on the reality that it is a much less powerful platform and that it simply isn’t capable of rendering the expansive and magnificent environments depicted in the excellent concept art, which is more acclaimed than the game itself. If you would like to see similarly surreal and spectacular environments in an actual game, check out Alice: Madness Returns, which needless to say isn’t available on the Wii.
RayTunes wrote:That was two years ago. Apparently I find Spiral much more interesting and fun to read posts from back in the beginning, but that's not my point.
My posts from two years ago are idiotic and childish compared to the ones I make now. Do you want me to dumb down what I say so that you will find it more accessible? Sorry, but your interest and entertainment are not high on my list of priorities.
sergiomonty wrote:^wow, spiral said that? heh...that's lame. He's just falling in denial. Rabbids existed in Rayman's universe, open your f*cking eyes, kid.
I would like to draw attention to the stupidity of this situation; I am being forced to defend a post which I made when I was significantly younger, and which I certainly wouldn’t make now. Sure it’s ‘lame’; I sound like certain members here today, but it is still essentially correct. Perhaps you could make a case for the first Rabbids game as a valid part of the series, in spite of its gross mischaracterisations and the overwhelming disconnect between it and the games with any semblance of a soul, but the sequels make absolutely no sense within the framework of the actual Rayman games and thus could not take place within the same continuity. Michel Ancel has made it quite clear that the series are separate and that they will not cross over again – but his word might not be enough to convince you, as you’ve made your views on the man quite clear.

It would not surprise me if the skeletons were the grandparents of at least one character, though Mr Dark is unlikely (they don’t have Teensy skulls).

Hahahahaha! Oh spiral, you so silly. The team said the complete opposite of what you said. Ok, I'll quote it for you so you can stop talking sheet
IGN: Why did you decide to omit Rayman from the experience altogether?

Jacques: Not a day goes by without somebody asking us for a new Rayman game… He'll be back for more imaginative and fantastic adventures of his own before you know it, but not in RGH, which takes place among Humans.

In the meantime, the Rabbids really like it here in the real world and are here to stay… That is, unless they make it to the moon! But rest assured that the Rabbids and Rayman are still B.E.F. (Best Enemies Forever). They'll no doubt meet again...

sergiomonty wrote:Hahahahaha! Oh spiral, you so silly. Michel said the complete opposite of what you said. He said since an interview about rabbids go home that they WILL cross over again, but they will work as separated franchises.
Rabbids Go Home was a long time ago in gaming terms. When the interview you’re talking about was conducted, Rayman Origins did not exist in any form. Any tentative plans that the developers had back then to cross the series over once again have been discarded.
sergiomonty wrote:Saying that they where separated just because it didn't get acceptation from rayman fans is just stupid, is like trying to cover something that happened, even when RAYMAN RAVING RABBIDS WAS GOOD. Yeah, some rayman fans are butthurt about that, but let's face it, the game wasn't that bad, the second one sucked balls and the third one was more like a rabbids game, but seriously, the first one wasn´t that bad if we forget about the ending.
I don’t recall stating that the series were separated because the Rabbids games did not get ‘acceptation’ from Rayman fans. It’s much more likely that the developers were unsatisfied with the quality of the Rabbids games, or that they were aware of the vastly different target demographic and the fact that nobody really wanted them to be linked. Rayman Raving Rabbids may be considered ‘good’ by the people for whom it was made, but the less said about them the better.
sergiomonty wrote:I'm not a rabbids fan, but I find it stupid that gay people say "rabbids ruined rayman" when they fucking didn't.
Yeah, those gay people are so stupid!
sergiomonty wrote:They just gave rayman a rest for a while. If rayman continued for the last years with the platformers thay you where crying for, then rayman origins wouldn't make a big impact, because we would feel rayman as a horribly overexplotated character like Spyro and Crash.
Spyro and Crash didn’t become crap because they were ‘overexplotated’; they became crap because the series were taken away from Insomniac and Naughty Dog and given to lesser developers. If Ubisoft Montpellier had continued to develop Rayman games, it is likely that they would have been of the same quality as the first three. In short, your comparison to the fate of the Spyro and Crash series holds no water.
sergiomonty wrote:Michel said it clearly, rabbids will have their games, and rayman will have HIS GAMES, but they will cross over again. Some pages ago you said it wouldn't happen because Rayman Origins has no Rabbids and a lot of years have passed since that announcement, but can I tell you why that hasn't happened? because since a while we haven't seen a single rayman game, but while waiting for Rayman Origins, we got 3 rabbids games without rayman (Go Home, Travel in Time and now Alive and Kicking). Just give time some time.
I love how you take statements from interviews that are two years old to heart, yet refuse to accept sharply differing statements made only a few months ago. Rayman will not appear in future Rabbids games, and the Rabbids will not appear in future Rayman games. Everyone is happy about this – harcore Rayman fans, hardcore Rabbids fans, casual Rayman fans, casual Rabbids fans. No one wants these series to be linked. They do not suit one another. The developers must know this. ‘The franchises have separate destinies.’ You promise that time will prove you right, and that, for some nebulous reason, the developers must have been secretly planning to cross these distinct series over for the last two years, and that Ancel must have been lying to us when he said that this was not the case; well, we’ll see about that!
sergiomonty wrote:Anyway, if rayman fits with platformers and rabbids fit with party game, I just wonder how they would mix together (giving more attention to rayman's world compared to all of the 3 games). Sorry spiral.
How will Rayman and the Rabbids mix together? The answer is very simple: they won’t.

The fact that you have removed most of your points does not excuse them from criticism. As for your quotation, I have already explained in detail why it does not matter. Exertier implied that future Rayman games would feature the Rabbids, but Origins shows that this is not the case; Ancel has confirmed that Rabbids will not appear in Origins, and stated that the franchises have ‘separate destinies’ when asked if they would cross over again in the future. Exertier’s comments are clearly outdated; they were made in 2009, long before the idea of Origins was even conceived. Ancel recently clarified that they would not meet again.
