Paint doesn't support transparancy. You could download other free programs to get rid of the corners, I recommend GIMP!

That sounds quite interesting however it is worthless as a user will never be able to use it until they win the rank (I.e. through SOTM, Record day etc). I dont suppose it'd be bad if people wanted it for fun but yeah, it can't be used immediately unless someone wins it.
