Is that it? :|

All I'm seeing in these Daily Bubbles are pages full of silly phrases and messy pictures. This recent one is no different. Think I'll wait for a proper new trailer before getting too excited.

NOOOO WAAAAY!!! So...what do you want? real spoilers and things that would ruin the whole plot? Meh... I don't know you, guys, but I feel good with the bubbles, they're some kind of "hints" and sometimes just random words...and even parodies to movies or catchphrases...or bad puns. That's good for me.

P.D: Spiraldoor, are you f*cking up people around again?

There's a video in the new DB of a previously unknown part of the Serendipity Sea where Rayman's trying to escape a pirate ship. I mean, WHAT MORE COULD YOU WANT?!

I'm not Spiraldoor but I believe you not only have something against him again, aswell you are expecting now a elaborated response from himself.

Here we go again...

Then it would be preferable the Daily Bubble not be made at all and everything staying in silence until November. That's how a fan thanks Ubisoft that is trying to recover some trust from the veteran fans especially. :tssk: People nowadays just do not get satisfied with anything.

I think it's better as is, Rayman Origins is obviously a massive revelation, and I for one think it is better for us to be kept in the dark for the story so we may experience it first-hand ourselves, besides, with the Daily Bubble coming out we at least have some form of communication from Ubi, something that was EXTREMELY lacking last year around this period.

11 months to be precise. 11 months of total silence about the game.

Please refrain yourself from posting pointless and offensive comments on arguments that are none of your business.

sorry n.n

Oh, and haruka, you're right, I particulary enjoy spiraldoor's posts, they are all full of rage and pointless arguments XD sorry spiral, but I find it funny, I won't try to ruin your posts anymore if you don't want :mryellow:

And haruka, pleeeease calm down D:

Ok, on-topic again. Am I the only one who enjoys the chipmunk-voiced songs? they're kinda catchy. The only one that I find irritating is the Lum Prince dance song, I mean, I hear it EVERYTIME in EVERY gameplay video, and I'm getting tired of it, it looks like I'm gonna hate the Lum Prince during the whole game.

"Pointless arguments" and "Spiraldoor" are words that aren't gluable.

I'm calm. I wonder if the game will include an option to deactivate the Red Lums' singings.

^ Well, maybe, almost every videogame has the option to modify the volume of the music and the sound effects, but if you lower the volume of the sound effects you won't be able to hear the noises made by rayman, the crew and the enemies D:

On the contrary, my posts are always calm and measured; this can be verified quite easily with a little help from the forum’s search function. While the subject matter of my posts is not always of paramount importance, this is usually the result of my being drawn into artificial debates instigated by argumentative members (hint, hint). Your scornfully condescending tone is sadly at odds with reality; you are in no position to laugh at me.

‘PD’: I do not think the word ‘ruin’ means what you think it means.

tl;dr: Do not mess with spiral, as he has a point, unless you see that anyway.

I must finally watch some trailers without muted players, as music opinions are making me suspicious.

Seriously, spiral, do not be drawn into this kind of arguments! It's what gives you the reputation of a serial debater who everyone is afraid of. I not that's not the case, but it isn't really far from it. I used to have this reputation, every time I entered a room, people would say 'oh, here comes, act natural so he won't start an argument'. I stopped being like that, though I still have the reputation of being like that. For example, I remember when someone quoted your post from a couple of years ago and someone else said it's idiotic. You replied to that, even though you knew, and you actually wrote it, that it's preposterous of you to reply to such an idiotic comment.

On another note, does anyone here know something in game development? I'm starting a computing course in school tomorrow but it doesn't teach anything about game development, or any other kind of script that doesn't involve the internet for that matter. I know you know something about this, Stan. Any tips? Something to begin with?

Also, I just got my PS1 today! Played R1 a little, after 13 years of not being able to play it!

I do not know much, actually. I just made a single game nobody wants to play. Still, not shocking for the first "serious" game of mine ever.

Where to begin with? Well, depends on what you want to do. There are basically two ways of making a game: use engines/GameMaker etc. (last ones are actually very simple engines) or program stuff. While programming stuff, you have far greater control on what you can do, but you must do that controlled stuff from the scratch, which takes time to do, to understand and to debug. You may also program stuff with some "partial" engines (i.e. integrate a normal physics engine and do the rest in C++), but to do that, you need to already know programming quite a little, and you basically lose total control in parts you didn't do yourself. This is simplified, but well, I think I'm understandable for once. I think you would prefer engine-based development, so I can't give you any tips, as this did not interest me too much.
