Sure, if he’s getting paid for his work, or acknowledged in any way. It’ll be interesting to see just how far they go in duplicating previous soundtracks.

I hope they remix some of the soundtracks from the first game...

I liked to see how the crabs must be defeated.

From down to up. An upwards fist. And it isn't only that: the way to get through his weak spot, you need to wait for the crab lifting his leg.

If they are going to remix music, perhaps they could put in a "light" form of Mr. Darks theme, to represent his imminent turn, I'd also like to see some music of Rayman 2's calibre, they really had a magical feel behind them.
As for the crabs, it's nice to know that atleast they're not the buggery type from Rayman 2.

Oh noes! The spider from LIMBO! It's still alive! Oh, wait... it's a crab. That's fine with me.
Did anyone notice the wall drawings in the first picture? They're like the ones from the desert level. Also, the globox in the bottom of the DB is obviously Globox, not Big Mama. What do you think is the game parodied in the vid where Globox blows up TNT and stuff? Looks like Boulder Dash, though I've never played that game so I don't know.

Those crabs are very likely to have been inspired by red monsters, yeah. By the way, I congratulated the Montpellier team on the Sea of Serendipity, whose strange creatures and ancient temples make it an authentic Rayman universe.

It really reminds me (especially the image posted above) of the small part of the Teensie temple in R3. I've always wanted to explore that part of that world. It's a shame that they did the swimming and diving mechanics in R3 so well and hardly used them. I always find it hard to get out of the water at the end, kinda like the feeling you get when you're in a pool that's not freezing cold. (that is, when you're supposed to get out...)
