kk
Well, other than the face which can be dealt with later.

@Rulez:
Nice idea! I may use it yet.

I've also decided I'm going to include some literal solving puzzles in a variety of levels combined into the form of gameplay. I've got some ideas for the Shrine of Myre.

Haha, thanks. I've also got much smoother game mechanics which I hope to share very soon, plus much added detail to the Dream Forest. My updated/remastered versions of previous music tracks will only be uploaded by RayTunesOfficial.

Awesome!

I have a cool idea for a Game Over screen, I've drawn it, but you'll have to wait until I get back from Taekwondo training to see it!

That's fine, because I sweepy sweepy now.

By the way, I'm planning on taking martial arts of some kind, but I'm undecided on which. What wasa your incentive to choose taekwondo?

I was also about to warn you not to make one-word posts.

Lastly, next model-wise I'm going to add the muscle tone to the fingers.

*Shrugs.* I started when I was 5-6 (can't remember) and now I'm 11. So, yeah, we got that note from the school for Taekwondo, and I went and watched. It seemed pretty interesting, and so I joined. And I'm still having fun today! (P.S I'm a Black belt.) Chat later, 3 minutes till I leave gotta get changed! *Rushes away.*

Have a good time perching with one leg on a thin outward protrusion from a temple on a mountain top whilst charming a snake with a shenhi.

If I may? He looks like he hasn't eaten in a while. :oops2: Very well rendered all the same. I love the details on his eyes.

I've always found Rayman the cutest in R2, when he looks a bit sad. The subtle facial expressions they put in there are just sublime.

Regarding the puzzle thing, I think it's a great idea to incorporate some. Quite some gameplay will be puzzly/findy outy in my game. But there will also be a lot of action for the no-brainers out there. (No ofanse :P)
Well, I must say, the model is looking great! I hate to be criticising all the time, but if I could make one last suggestion, the hands look jusssst a tiiiny bit too small. Well, what can I say. If I try to help to make something look even greater, I get nitpicky.

It looks almost perfect now! Good job. =D
The vertical size of the torso looks right to me now, but what Rulez said - his torso is a bit too thin now. I guess you resized it on all axes instead of only vertically? Also, great to hear that you're going to modify the hands a bit. Don't try to do too much about that though, it looks fine already, I was just saying it might look a very tiny bit better. Anyway, the rest is perfect. :) Wish I had your modelling skills... *goes on to learn 3dsmax and zbrush*

Haha, it's funny. Look at the Rayman model I made from a few years ago (and past) on the first page. Back then I was constantly criticized on my modeling and artwork. Then there was a point where people stopped commenting for a bit. Now more recently, the comments slowly came back more and more positive. Building skills is a weird thing, because you don't notice you've improved until there's enough change in people's reactions for you to think back on it.

I began with Sketchup in 2006. I was surprised at how simple it was. Then when I moved onto 3ds Max for the Halo 2 Sapien engine I had thrown myself into the surreal yet interesting world of 3D modeling.

Anyway, I resized the torso vertically and thinned the middle a bit. Apparently too much. :P

Just noticed there's a tiny line down the middle of his nose, as if he's been stitched up there... nothing wrong with that, but if the game's going to have close-ups, it may catch the gamer's eye.
