Well... it depends, are you buying your PS3 just for RO? If you are, stop and think about it first. You may be a great rayman fan, but hey, you're buying a console, and not only that, but also a version of the game that is 10 dollars more expensive and it's pretty much the same. You're going to spend lotz of moneeh!!! are you sure you want that only for the HD?...unless you want some other ps3 games then there's no problem ... I'm just saying

Just played Rayman Origins at Gamefest
Oh my GOD!!! It's so epic
However I did find my 9 year old sister saving my butt sometimes on it (and she hates 2d sidescrollers)
But still, Rayman has made an awesome comeback in an epic way.

I played the xbox 360 version
The controls were pleasant and not at all awkward. They were similar to the original Rayman
The game admittedly was better than my original expectations and is incredibly fun with 2 or more players. The level design is epic and the cartoony feel is very comedic
Finally, I played all 3 levels on show: a jungle level, a cave level and a desert one (desert is evil!!!)
It was definitely one of my favourites of the whole show!!!

4 years ago when I had an oportunity to have a PS3, I refused at the time because not only the console was quite expensive and full of problems, the gaming catalogue wasn't interesting at all for me.

Now not only the console has got a more tempting price of 249,99€, and it is a more stable lite console, but there are more interesting games appearing to it not only for retail aswell in the PSN. I could get also Sly Cooper's HD collection, Little Big Planet or Earthworm JIM HD in the PlayStation Network. But I really want to play RO in HDMI (come on, the graphics look gorgeous) and I want to have access to the goodies, I'm also interested to see by myself the artwork pages and listening the soundtrack. I admit I wouldn't like to be spending so much money now, but if I was ever able to get easily the C.E. for PS3 I could buy the console right away in November. If I must buy both things, it will be much harder to me to get the stuff immediately.

And I don't find shocking someone buying a console just for one game. I've met before someone who just bought a Game Boy Advance in purpose to play Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. There are fans for everything.

Probably Ubi thinks the Wii gamers (you know, those who bought Wii Fit., Raving Rabbids, and stuff :p) wouldn't be interested in a CE. Really pity.

If Ubisoft have calculated that a Rayman Origins CE for Wii would not be profitable, they are probably right.

YouTube and all unofficial RayTunes soundtracks (meaning every Rayman soundtrack apart from that of Origins) are completely unaffected by PC’s relationship with Ubisoft, so I’m not sure what your point is.

A PlayStation 2 está perto de ficar descontinuada. Com o tempo que já tem, a descida de preço da PS3 e o preço actual da PS2, tenho a certeza que dentro de mais 2 anos se não menos a consola ficará oficialmente descontinuada. A Ubisoft não lançaria um jogo para uma consola quase extinta, e aliás a PlayStation 2 não consegue exibir gráficos em alta definição.

Eu estou a fazer um esforço para arranjar uma PS3. A ver se consigo...

I was also initially turned to an Xbox mostly because of the price, but I've thought better and reached the conclusion it would end up much more expensive than the PS3 and I would regret later for having bought a Xbox 360.

GBA =/= PS3 And well, it's not shocking, but also is not really really economically favorable... unless you're rich (boo, I'm poor u_u).... but oooh well, you said you wanted a ps3 since a long time ago, so go on, I think there's no problem with that then ^_^

It's only a matter of time before mine is, I believe you can make "ting accounts" to store surplus tings, I'm planning on doing this when I reach Uglette rank until I have enough tings to reach the Sssam rank, the Carmen rank and all ranks thereafter (including ly and betilla), I can deal with.

As for the console thing, I would only get a console if there are enough games to make it worthwhile, since I was a fan of many PS2 exclusives, I deemed it fit to get a PS3 for myself as it "ticked all the right boxes" as it were, I understand the PS3 is not a console for everyone of course, but my tastes are my tastes.

That's quite fortunate, as my VGM collection would shrink largely without Rayman. Sadly many others uploading music are being suspended from YouTube lately.

I'm guessing it's A for jumping, B for attacking and X/Y for dashing.

There are SO many games I want which are only for the X360. I think I'll buy one next year when I work.
