That's very likely. It fits pretty well with the story as the robo-pirates come from space.

OK, what the heck, am I seeing things or were pirates supposed to turn creatures into FURNITURE? This would make an interesting game, but far less epic than R2.

Many people in my Youtube comment that R2 should have been kept 2D, but I think they forget that just one early fragment of game does not determine the quality of the game. I am sure it would have been even less remarkable than the R2TGE we know today.

Um, I don't know Cairnie, but... did you happen to, maybe a month ago, buy on ebay this Rayman Origins promotional egg with the sticky blue hand?

This thing.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 97.c0.m619

It's supposed to have stuff like high res pose art, interviews etc that would be useful on the wiki so I got curious.

The sticky hand wasn't really all that though, only thing Rayman related is the logo on the egg.

Yeah, cool actually. I have a sticky hand actually but it's red and not from that.

Yes, um... I sort of was planning to buy that egg when suddenly it 'disappeared' :oops2:

Yeah I did indeed buy that, as there was no photo of the actual contents and I was curious...I kinda regret it actually especially as it's usually a freebie. I'll see if we can ponce the Ubi reps with more of them at Eurogamer...

About the press kit, it's nothing personal but just wanted to make sure it went to somebody that'd share the contents with us and not some general game memorabilia hoarder that never shares anything at all (still never saw anything of the Rayman 1 flyer I tried to get...)

Wow, who was the bastard who bought that? :boon:

It reminds me how a jerk won the auction of the R3 statue by bidding extra 50 cents when it was missing 2 minutes to end. Like that I lost the rare box that came with the artbook of the game.

So. Um.

Any way of me buying that from you?
It's just that I like having Rayman-related stuff and yea.

...20PLN?

Aren't those bidders complete jerks?

I just felt will to kill the person who won the rare kit while I was 2 minutes near to win. And I lost for fifty damn cents.

Whoa! I can see why you're less than happy about that, I've got the money to pre-order RO, but I'm holding out for the Collectors Edition, but I don't know how long I can hold out...
I'd be devastated if I miss the opportunity when it was available though.

There used to be a time when you could actually see the usernames on other bidders but since eBay want to be all play it safe they jumble it all up to stop harassment, interfering with transactions etc, which is something I have never, EVER done, not even when I''ve lost, or when I've won but had to end up paying a ridiculous amount of money on it, in fact the last time I could see other bidders I PM'd one telling them they've bought something that bootlegged my artwork and I didn't consider that to be interfering.

20PLN...lol that's about how much I even paid for it so if I get more at Eurogamer it's a deal.
