Thanks Drol! I spent like two hours fiddling with a couple tiny details until I got fed up and uploaded it.

And by the way, that3Dguy's rig is amazing!

EDIT:

Oh god dammit, the rig animations don't work when exported to CE3.

Why does this have to be so difficult.

That looks great, but there seems to be something suspicious going on with his right hand. I don't think it's supposed to have random sharp corners?

Yeah, that was an issue I encountered. Some of the finger bending gets quite odd. When you fix it can you play around with it a lot to make sure every direction works properly? The hands are the only real issue. Also is it possible to have soft joints (like the effect of soft select) instead of the bones leaving no space between thepart that's being fully moved and the part that's unaffected? I think the soft select analogy should give you the right idea. Try to make it as smooth as possible.

I've finished Flips's model. Now to work on the textures.

Unfortunately she's 24,000 polygons right now (Rayman is 10,000), and I don't want to go above 10,000, so I need to optimize the model for the game. The polycount for characters in this is still much higher than in other games (around 2,000-6,000), but I think it's worth it.

Flips looks amazing! But I think the cheeks are a bit too sucked in, you know what I mean? her head should be a little rounder.

Great job RayFan!

Only complaint I'd have is that Flips is way too big. She looks fine against Moskito, but against Rayman she's about half-to-three-quarters of his height even without the hat, and she was nowhere near that tall in the show,
