The cat thing is from Saints Row actually and that was funny because one of the weapons is a giant dildo. :3

@RayFan, I agree on everything. Problem is, I have almost no social life outside of school, so doing all the important exams at home will shatter it completely. I think the only solution is to go to a separatist school, but then I won't learn a thing. Well, guess it's time to start going to night clubs!
BTW, I'm texting while in maths class. Damn, algebra's hard!

Sadly, spiraldoor, it's true. Somedays ago I was watching at the college some footage showing gameplay of RO. Then a friend of mine appeared, and he said "Oh look.... I know that guy... he's from the PS2 thing... he's called...uh...well...he's the guy with the big nose, right?....he's called... uh... uhm, thunderman?"

"OH YEAH YEAH, THAT'S RIGHT, HE'S RAYMAN, his game was too damn hard........ who's the blue frog?"

The same thing happened with other friends. Everybody recognizes rayman just for his particular appeareance, but only a few really know who he is. And I won't lie, there are about twenty active users here... more or less. It's not much compared to mario forums and sonic forums, which have A MASSIVE FANBASE that is constantly posting. I feel like a hipster playing rayman, lol.

You should take in account that both Nintendo and SEGA are bigger enterprises than Ubisoft. (And both are japanese)

But it is a lie that the Rayman fanbase is missing. Rayman Pirate-Community keeps alive and active since it was founded. Even during the peak of the Rabbids, the forum still rolled on.

Ah, good point to raise. But you can also point out that at first I didn't know I was trans, so I was technically in the same position as anyone at the start.

This is undoubtedly true. I wish it were different, but it's true.

I only know one person in real life who's played through 1, 2, and 3, and he's a distant friend of my brother's and is six years older than me, and studies in a hardcore college. Mind you he's actually a hardcore Rayman fan (and he's given me every Rayman computer game that I own), but the next closest person I know, he's my age, goes to my friend's school, and he's played through Rayman 1 and "remembers and OK amount of it," Yet can't really recall anything specific.

i had 3 friends in pre-school who were rayman-geeks just like me but i never saw 'em agian after pre-school

Unfortuneatly the peak of popularity of Rayman in my country was in the PlayStation One era with Rayman 1. It also went fine with the sequel for the Dreamcast and the PlayStation One but after that, Rayman has been dropped to forgetfulness. In here Mario and Sonic are way more popular franchises, and nowadays if I talk about Rayman to someone, almost no one knows who he is.

It was the same in the UK but only because everyone bought Rayman enough for a platinum, I *think* Revolution became platinum as well but not sure about Rayman 3.

I think the same story about Rayman's situation happens just about everywhere (yes, here too). I haven't been in fanforum of other popular characters, but I have a feeling the people out there aren't as dedicated enough to build entire fan made games of their idols. Reason is because all those other guys like Sonic and Mario have hundreds of games with their name on it. Maybe I should check one out sometime to see if I'm right.

Strangely enough, whenever I mention Rayman, people tell me his games are terrible. Even Rayman 1, yes.

Always when they say that, I think to myself "The first game was probably too hard for you anyway."

R1 was extremly popular when i was in pre-school
(we even had a little rayman club XD but unfortunately i never saw those people agian)
