And here I was thinking there were loads of updates to the thread.
Anyway, Supercharge sounds alright, though I do like Overcharge more. Supercharge it is then!
Oh, and yes, that is indeed where I got my username from, some 6 to 7 years ago I thought of that character and he has been my persona ever since.
Okay, back to modeling again. Let's see if I can get it right this time.
Oh, and I've got something else!
If you guys are alright with it, I would like to try to model her next. Purely for the reason I also want to get the hang of human based models. I bet I'm going to have lots of fun figuring out how to make her tail the FLUFFIEST yesfluffhmmyes
Oh, great! Really like her. The one thing I always pay attention to in Ly is the asian features she has, such as the cheekbones and overall skin tone. That is the one tip I can give you. For the rest, you already seem to have nailed it!
One other thing: her feet are very slender at the ball of the foot all the way up to the actual toes, where the foot becomes very large. This is a very toony effect though I doubt that's her actual feet - they are most likely just shoes shaped like that; but I've always liked them nevertheless.
It's just a sketch anyway. Her feet are always like this, but there's nothing wrong in thinking about giving her better looking feet. Yeah, they're big.
Her feet are quite slender but they are big at the ends, whereas yours look a bit big overall, much as if she's wearing mountainous boots - not trying to offend, but that's the only description I can find for it. Also, they don't go on forwards as long as the ones in the artwork do.
And even if it's a sketch, a little pointer here and there can only create better results in the end, no?
But that doesn't mean I still don't find your drawing quite great indeed.

I accidently posted this in another topic.
That is a beautiful drawing, I hope the modellers can retain it's beauty.
The nice thing about it is that it's so... correct! It's just a perfect replication of Ly's proportions and still makes her look humanoid - even if her legs are far too long to be a real human (though this is true because the 'real' Ly shares this aspect; it's very toony in a way).
Yep yep, I'm finishing the sketch and then probably will outline it to show the basics, and ofcourse for another constructive look at it. I JUST finished Rayman's body with the neckerchief and I'm pondering what to do next. Head or shoes? Hmm.. Think with me people!
I think shoes to get your modelling up to skill more, but I think head to get your style more in the direction you want it to become, if you know what I mean. Shoes are easier, but don't affect the style as much as the head would; there's a massive difference between the heads of all four major Rayman games (as usual I don't count Rabbids).
I had been thinking about a little mix of Rayman 2 and 3 for the head. The model will MOSTLY be like Rayman 2's, but like in Rayman 3, a bit more realistic and logical (with logical, I mean his hair. It'll remain the way it is in R2, changed so that it doesn't look like lasagna pasta anymore). I just hope it will work out, but I have doubts..
As for shoes, they'll be R2's.
Edit: Fixed Ly, for now.
Giving this a look from the critic side, did I make her hips too wide?

Spanex, watch the 3DS Max CAT Rig animations on their YouTube channel; that'll explain how to make their wolfbeast's hair move. I think you could very easily apply a similar method with bones (or a CAT Rig - whatever is to your liking) in the neckerchief.
Hey Spanex your Ly looks amazing! The only thing I can fault is from side-view of her feet, they're just not long enough. Ly's feet look a bit like stretched socks. (If you know what I mean.)
