This is the first time I've ever been really offended in this forum. I got mad a few times, cursed a few people, but never have I been offended. I know you're joking, and I laughed, but I am upset by this. I really am.

Incidentally, I did not learn my English from porno, though I am fond of the genre ( :hinhin: ). No, I merely lived in England a couple of years as a child and my parents sent me thereafter to private lessons. Most of my English comes from excessive indulgence in such primary means of entertainment as movies, books, TV shows, etc. Most of my books are in English, I never watch a movie in Hebrew, nor do I watch Israeli TV shows. It's got to the point where my thoughts are actually in English, which is quite disturbing.

@Rayfan, if you're referring to the fairy from the new DB, I agree with you. But I said I think the fairy from the Gamescom trailer is Ly.

Edit: A quick search of the word would have got you this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ebony_(magazine) . Now just don't google images the word 'ebony' and I'm off the hook.

Sorry iambored, I found Spiral's answer unexpected. I admit I also didn't know the meaning of the word in question.

It's simple: ebony is a beautiful black tree from Africa. It's often used in expensive sets of chess, along with ivory pieces.

Actually, that's why I know that. When I was 10 years old, I was really obsessed with HP, and I saw this website where you can order a custom wand. You choose from which wood they make the handle and the body, you choose the 'magical' substance inside, and eventually it costs around a 100$. I worked hard for that money and wasted it on a wand made of ebony and bloodwood. I still have it.

So the humorous insinuation that you peruse pornography (which you don’t deny) is the worst thing anyone here has ever said to you? Consider yourself lucky!

My comment was obviously a joke and not meant to be taken seriously. I suspect you’re trying to make a big deal out of it simply because you don’t like me.

I do not 'peruse' pornography, but I will not deny the fact that I sometimes watch some, like, I'm guessing, most people here. Tobbe, for example, was the one who connected ebony to porn... What do you make of that?

To peruse means to watch or look through something, usually with a degree of thoroughness. To say that you watch porn without perusing it is splitting hairs, don’t you think? It’s beside the point anyway. What I’d like to know is why you find the suggestion that you watch porn so deeply offensive? Consider the facts that 1) Most people here watch it, as you point out, 2) You watch it yourself, as you admit, 3) I wasn’t even being serious, but making an opportune joke based on Tobbe’s observation, and 4) You laughed at it yourself. Now your indignation begins to look quite unfounded. Am I missing something here?

I don’t believe that sergiomonty was trying to make a joke (where’s the punchline?), but you can never really tell with him.

I know what peruse means, but I don't think it can be applicable here. See, I don't go around on the internet, looking for the scripts of porn movies so that I could learn English from them... but seriously though, I understand what you mean. Yes, I did laugh at the joke, which, by the way, was that I learn English from porno, not that I watch porno. But haven't you ever been made fun of, laughed at the joke, but was still offended by it? Is it not possible? Being insulted by something doesn't mean it can't amuse you.

In my opinion there aren't many new things to show in the next Daily Bubbles as the game is less than 50 days to be released, so there's nothing quite big to talk about for now.

But expect for some posts from me when I get my hands on the game.

I believe there were some new image from the Nintendo 3DS version of Rayman Origins? I can't remember, and I might be mistaking it for the PSVita. I wonder if Nintendo3DSTV will give any updates on it soon.
