The first three seasons were absolutely brilliant, the next four seasons were very, very good (although they had their weak moments), but this eight season is just pure garbage. There aren't negative adverbs or adjectives in the English vocabulary that are strong enough to describe how shitty it has become.

I thought the 6th and 7th seasons of House were quite poor and not nearly as good as the 4th and 5th, let alone the first three. The 8th season is off to a bad start indeed, hopefully it gets better later. It probably won't.

The way to know if you're physically addicted to something is if you experience headaches or other pains. My mom, for example can't sleep without a cup of coffee.

I drink cola maybe twice a year, but I can still notice the difference between pepsi and coca cola. Pepsi's definitely better. I drink lots of Guarana, a Brazilian/Portugese soft drink with the taste of a Brazilian berry called Guarana. My brother told me he bought about five big bottles in Portugal because it costs less than a euro there. Bastard

The world has lost one of the greatest minds and pioneers of computer science. He was the father of the ubiquitous C programming language, and together with Ken Thompson, a co-author of the most prevalent and proliferating UNIX operating system.

These inventions had massive and fundamental influence to modern computing, and to give you an idea how far it reached, almost every website, including this one, uses two scripting languages, namely PHP and JavaScript, which resembles C in syntax, and is executed by an interpreter made with C/C++, present on your web browser made with C++, that's running on your operating system made with C/C++ (including Windows, and especially the Unix-based families like Mac and Linux), while every information transferred over the Internet is passing through servers, backbones, switches and access points, being handled with routines on Unix-like embedded systems. Both C and C++ is also still the most widely used in the gaming industry, while C is the second most used programming language of all time, and all of the Rayman titles was also made with them.

Without their existence, the world would look a whole lot different today, and we would likely have been 10 or 15 years behind our digital advancements.
