Okay, Okay, let's not mock the guy.
This reminds me of that child's tale of "The boy who cried wolf."

Re: Rayman 3
@Well... practically everyone:
Stop mocking him, he's only young.
Plus we've all seen what 3ds can do, it would be possible to remake rayman 3 on it.
Although I do think Ubisoft would've learnt by now, making Origins and all: that Rayman is too cool to keep being remade. Every time it gets more glitch-ridden. My friend liked Rayman until she played number two on 3ds and got glitched like a NOOB!!!
*Dramatic music* But I however, have always stuck by Rayman. Out of everything I used to play: Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter, only Rayman survived up till now. I may be the only one of my friends who likes Rayman but no matter what they say, how much they despise him... I will always know better.

Re: Rayman 3
Jak and Daxter does have the capability of being continued, the rights are still owned by Sony, if you look at R3Ds sig, you'll notice how he currently is talking of a HD remake of the Jak trilogy, I hope that does happen, and ND have allegedly confirmed it as such.
As for Spyro, he's still alive, but Activision put him through the useless gimmick process, and...

That was the result.
Rayman luckily, has narrowly escaped Crash's fate, who is basically dead.

Re: Rayman 3
I think I'll only feel interested in Crash Bandicoot again when Naughty Dog decides to recover the copyright. (Which will never happen so...)

@Master4lyf1:
Don't worry, I know of Spyro's fate in Skylanders.
He is now just a figurehead and he is only the main character because of his name on the box. It is completely and utterly a gimmick in itself and Spyro is a shadow of his former self. Younger players will never know of Spyro's glory days *sob*

Re: Rayman 3
Ah the good old days of Spyro 1, 2, and 3. I think that Spyro was first love for gaming, which kept bringing me back to it...good times...hang on! I have my Spyro 1, 2, and 3 still! I can play them on my PS3! "Ya-hoo! ha!" (<Can anyone guess what that's from?<) To be honest, I think Spyro's worst games were Spyro Enter The Dragonfly and Spyro a Hero's Tale. To me The Legend of Spyro wasn't a bad at all series, but not in par with the originals. I HATE Spyro's new design in Skylanders, he looks like a homicidal killer. but that's what you get when you hire the artist from Shrek to draw you a cute lovable purple dragon. (Not to say Shrek, 2, 3, and 4 sucked, in fact I love Shrek. Hilarity to the max.) I hope that someone will be able to revive Spyro from the ashes of his former games, and recreate him anew, as the awesome purple dragon of legend he is.Raymanarenaps2 wrote:RefluxtheKnaaren64 wrote:@Master4lyf1:

Re: Rayman 3
Correction, it COULD be.
Not only that, but it would be a PSN title, NOT a Blu-Ray title.

Re: Rayman 3
It depends on the improvements they give, if it's practically identical to the original, I'll stick with my PC version, if it has SIGNIFICANT graphical improvements, then I may consider a purchase, if the price is reasonable of course.
I'm not dishing out more than £20.00 for a graphically improved Rayman 3.

Re: Rayman 3
Because it could be a direct port of a game we already have, and unlike Rayman 2, the differences between Rayman 3 versions is minimal, so there's not really much point of getting it again.Haruka wrote:Why it wouldn't?Raymanarenaps2 wrote:Okay.

Re: Rayman 3
RAPS2 just because PS2 games are coming to PSN doesn't mean Rayman 3 would be on straight away, it could take some time like it did for Rayman 1 and 2 PS1 to come on PSN. Don't take rumours that heavily.

Told RAPS2 already, but we're currently speculating on what if.Master4lyf1 wrote:Correction, it COULD be.

I, for one, would just like it if Ubi did what it did with PoP and Re-release the Trilogy in FULL HD goodness, it's disheartening to look at the low-res textures on my computer.

Hopefully if it's anything unlike the Prince of Persia trilogy and not full of glitches.

Re: Rayman 3
If anyone remakes the games in HD, it should be Montpellier, then Ancel at least gets to refine his creative hand on his past works.

Re: Rayman 3
That’s an interesting idea, but the current wave of HD remakes of games from the PS2 era doesn’t really allow for much creativity. They just up the resolution and leave it at that, or sometimes upgrade a few textures and models. This is fairly mechanical work, and I’d rather see it taken care of by a lesser studio. Ubisoft Montpellier have more important things to do.

Re: Rayman 3
Indeed they do, BG&E fans have waited as long as us for their next game.
