2 endings? in which way? like kirby 64 where you had to get everything to get the real ending? or good/bad ending?
By the way, did you guys watch the "new abilities" interview? it came out along with the story interview

I achieved over 400000 points back as a kid on PS2, but, I never got to upload that score, the memory card broke along with the ps2
And I never have the time to improve my PC score.
Notice how they're all Nintendo games, IGN has separate departments which review separate console games.RefluxtheKnaaren64 wrote:What do you mean, IGN rate all games on fun. Not on if they're not first-person shooters. They rated Super Mario Galaxy 2 positively and many other Nintendo games at that
I guarantee the wii version will get the better reviews.
Re: Rayman Origins
IGN is hugely based on FPS shooter games.
Two endings? That means I will have to play the game twice to prove my gaming skills.

IGN give practically everything a 9.5/10. Most of the time I only pay attention to what review aggregators like Metacritic and Rotten Tomatoes say.

Because different departments review the different versions of the game, thus they come out with different scores.RefluxtheKnaaren64 wrote:Master4lyf1 wrote:Really? Then IGN is a conspiracy! I'm not saying the Wii version is superior at all, I was referring to how it would be reviewed.
Re: Rayman Origins
I wonder what Raymans future is. In the Nintendo Power interview they stated that they find 2D very entertaining and seem a lot more vague about making a 3D Rayman game.
Re: Rayman Origins
My prediction is RO having an average score of 8 out of 10 if we put all reviews together. It is just an estimative.

I don't care what reviews say, just as long as Michel gives us that Rayman we waited for 8 years for, and with a considerable amount of quality, I shall be happy.

Re: Rayman Origins
That would actually be really great, considering that there's almost guaranteed to be someone somewhere who pulls the score down. I don't think I've ever seen a score on Metacritic so far that has been 9 or above (although I don't go there all that often anywayHaruka wrote:My prediction is RO having an average score of 8 out of 10 if we put all reviews together. Re: Rayman Origins
Christophe Héral revealed on facebook that the soundtrack CD from Rayman Origins won't include that much pieces from the game itself, but "extra" tracks instead.
I know because he's my "friend" there.
He said that because someone asked him if the CD in the C.E. was going to have all the tracks from the game. The obvious answer is no.
Hmm. I'm not too sure what to think about the RayTunes thing anymore. It seems like they're deliberately leaving out tracks from the game to include extra tracks that aren't in the game, making the Collector's Edition worth buying. The soundtrack won't be complete, so maybe should I post it on RayTunes after all? Would we get trouble? Any thoughts?

Hey guys, heard of the EBGames Expo? Course you haven't cuz you don't live in Australia like me. Well, here are a few screens from the XBOX360 version from the show, there are a few new screens in there, just have to comb it for them.
http://au.gamespot.com/xbox360/action/r ... Bthumb%3B1
Anyways, two endings? Me likes zee sounds of zat!
Oh BTW guys, I still have my Rayman Junior level 2 for the PS1 from when I was little, and upon putting in my PS3 to relive some of the old moments from that game (though there weren't many due to all the learning involved
) and I noticed that when I go to the music section on my XMB Menu I can listen to all the tracks from the game! I'm going to test this out with Rayman 2 as well!
Extra tracks you say? That sounds interesting! very interesting indeed!

Hmm...well maybe you should only upload the tracks they don't include in the soundtrack? I dunno, but I just want us to keep our connection with Ubisoft clean for further years to come...Drolpiraat wrote:Christophe Héral revealed on facebook that the soundtrack CD from Rayman Origins won't include that much pieces from the game itself, but "extra" tracks instead.

Re: Rayman Origins
Hey all.
I got about 10 mins hands-on time with Rayman Origins yesterday at the Australia's first gaming expo on the Gold Coast in Queensland. I doubt I'll know anything you guys don't already, but I got to play a little of both the firey kitchen level (name escapes me) and Frosty Delight, so if anyone has any questions I'd be happy to try and answer them.

Re: Rayman Origins
EXTRA TRACKS!? See, this is how Ubisoft gets customers. I'll have to search all around for someone selling the CD separately from the Collectors Edition. I wonder if Wuigi knows of any separate sell..
Are the control as smooth as I expect?AJack wrote:Hey all.

Like you, I was expecting very smooth controls and I wasn't disappointed. I played Globox, and I found his movement to be very nice indeed. The solid 60fps really helps make everything feel very smooth and responsive.RayTunes wrote:Are the control as smooth as I expect?

Re: Rayman Origins
Hang on AJack you live in Australia? Finally, another Aussie who likes Rayman! Where do you live if you made it to EBGames Expo? Next year the expo'll be in Sydney so I might be able to make it. BTW I live on the Central Coast NSW. Anyways, back on topic. What version did you play? Did the visuals look as epic as expected? Did you get the experience you were hoping for from Rayman origins? You should've brought a video camera man! We would've loved to see some footage of you playing.AJack wrote:Hey all.

I'm from Rockhampton, which is only about an hours flight from Brisbane (which is itself only an hour from the Gold Coast) so I met up with some mates and made a weekend of itbeebo44 wrote:Hang on AJack you live in Australia? The Xbox 360 version was the one on display, with two systems playable on the day. The visuals looked very nice indeed - very crisp and clear and the animation looked spectacular at 60fps. It did get a touch difficult to play at times on account of the playfield zooming right back to keep all four players on-screen, but even then it still looked great. Basically, it looked and played exactly how I was expecting it to, i.e. really well. For me, it played exactly how the videos have made it look. I wasn't able to fully experience everything I wanted to; for example, I could barely hear the audio over expo noise and it was hard to focus on exploration/collecting/precision platforming while playing a random assortment of segments in a very chaotic environment (with none of us really knowing what we were doing)! I came away dying to play more.
I wouldn't worry about video, unless you really wanted to see us dying a bunch of times

Re: Rayman Origins
Ah, human confirmation of the game being bloody terrific. That's what I've been looking for. The videos look great and all, but looks can be deceiving, so now there are a few people who've played the game, and they all praised it greatly. Rockhampton eh? Sounds like a cool place to be. Me and my family were actually planning of going to Gold Coast in December/January for a holiday, central coast is total flatsville.AJack wrote:I'm from Rockhampton, which is only about an hours flight from Brisbane (which is itself only an hour from the Gold Coast) so I met up with some mates and made a weekend of itbeebo44 wrote:Hang on AJack you live in Australia?
