Ahaha yes....
I like Helena better though... She's more sexy in her own way... (my opinion)

The game isn't even out and already we're having our own fantasies about the characters.

She’s called Annetta Fish. Merm-Aid is only the name of the trophy.

I don't like the "hairlycopter" pun, It just comes off as cheesy, sure "Helicopter hair" doesn't sound creative, but it sounds better in my opinion.

LOL. When I was small, I always thought it was his ears! I'm guessing it's because it was right before I got my glasses, when I most needed them. 8)

Ha! If you think that's bad, I know somebody who mistook him for a deformed rabbit, and her child thought his white circle was a target ring, and that that the reason was why the enemies were shooting at him.

Actually, the target ring could make sense.

I don't know which animal would make more sense. You could say he has some recognizable things in both?

I've heard Dog, Rabbit, Fox and even Cat!
Odd, why can't people understand fantastical characters when they see it?

Wasn't Rayman supposed to be a regular human boy? I mean, he wasn't supposed to be limbless, and his big nose is just a nice cliche.

That's actually a common error. I actually read a magazine article that said the same thing. I always assumed it was because in later Rayman games his hair sort of merged into his head (there was actually a discussion about that a few pages back). Glad to see they made his hair more apparent in Origins :P.

My brother said that when he was at Primary School his classmates used to discuss what Rayman was meant to be, which would lead to some rather strange discussions :D

As kid I also used to think his hair are ears ._. even in Polish version of Rayman 2 the stronghold guardian at Canopy describes Rayman hidden in bush as "only a bush with ears".

Haw! Even in the game!! In english, it's "It's just a big nosed bush", but you probably knew that.

I can understand they would mistake them for ears in the original design and the one that followed, but if they still do now...then I'm going to laugh.

This made me think though, if they really were ears, he would have had one side ripped open at some point in his life. I wouldn't like to imagine how painful that might have been.

Um...oops, am I getting too off-topic?

I hate when people compare Rayman with a dog or a rabbit.
