So we both have the same answers yet I ended up with 60%Haruka wrote:Hmmm...Master4lyf1 wrote:I know, but, looking at the questions and answers that I gave, doesn't 60% sound wrong?Haruka wrote:A R2 quiz better than the one that RayFan did, is kinda hard to make.
Question 1 - To answer this, I can say that the PS2 version's "world map" is definitely different from the other versions and unique so this could be considered the most correct answer. Now if we really want world maps instead of hubs (like RR), the Dreamcast would get the point. But what about the ports of the DC version?
Question 2 - What a stupid question, sorry about my frontality. Since when a console company took care about the internal game's changes? Ubisoft, hello? Putting that in side, it is obvious that the RR version was the version with most significant changes.
Question 3 - Dreamcast. It was the only version having just a voice in the intro, and nowhere else. I can't remember well if the iPod Touch/iPhone versions had voice.
Question 4 - The "kangaroos" are actually Denys (Minissaurus in PS2 version), bird-dinossaur alike creatures. The Ludivs (named fairies in the PS1) and the Greenbottles (named Murfys in PS1) are also exclusives from the PS1 cages, so the answer for this would be PS1 version.
Question 5 - Flash? There's the Rayman 2 Forever (GBC version) and there's the 2D prototype Rayman 2 included as a minigame in the PS1 version.
Question 6 - PS2 I guess, for the bigger interactivity in the hubs? ... Yeah, the Xbox 360 answer also intrigues me.
Question 7 - The Nintendo 3DS version has stereoscopy technology. I don't understand the "make-over" part, knowing this is a port of the DC version.
Question 8 - Japanese version, what the hell... PlayStation 2 version of course.
Question 9 - The PlayStation 2 version, again.
Question 10 - I think this question is badly formulated. The most correct question would be the version that suffered most adaptations in order to fit the capacities of the console, which was the PS1 version. But this question, RayFan already made it.
RaymanarenaPS2, you really should improve your spelling by the way.
Rayman 2

I got 50% percent, I guess I have more knowledge from Rayman 3.
Re: Rayman 2
While in RayFan's quiz I had almost perfect score, if it wasn't just a specific opinion that contradicted the real answer of a certain question.

Re: Rayman 2
Or, this quiz is badly done, which wouldn't be surprising, try your hand at Rayfans version and see what you get there.
I got 16 out of 18 on Rayfan's
Haruka got 17 out of 18 on Rayfan's
This is why I am bewildered at my mere 60% score from here.

I can't make out what the first answer is supposed to mean.

Ok, I am going to crudely translate:
"On what platform did UbiSoft have most difficulty developing a Rayman 2 version for?"
"On what platform did UbiSoft have most difficulty developing a Rayman 2 version for?"

My bad, I read that post in a hurry, the selection is Sega Genesis, but, with the temptation of seeing a Rayman Origins image if you got this and all questions correct.RayTunes wrote:oh! thats got to be Rayman Origins for sega genesis!Master4lyf1 wrote:Ok, I am going to crudely translate:

That makes no sense. Just put Sega Genesis, not he drama and Rayman Origins around it.Master4lyf1 wrote:My bad, I read that post in a hurry, the selection is Sega Genesis, but, with the temptation of seeing a Rayman Origins image if you got this and all questions correct.RayTunes wrote:oh! thats got to be Rayman Origins for sega genesis!Master4lyf1 wrote:Ok, I am going to crudely translate:

It works normally for me, so it's not the "Stupid GoG version" that's doing it.
Re: Rayman 2
GOG no stupid!? The process I went trough to get Rayman 1 to work properly is insane.Master4lyf1 wrote:It works normally for me, so it's not the "Stupid GoG version" that's doing it.

Rayman 2 GoG is what we're discussing here, not Rayman 1.
If I did get Rayman 1 for pc, it'd probably be through virtual machine.

Ah, jumped too soon, when the skull is shot, it spins, the person playing jumped too soon, and did not see the other skull coming, which then caused both the skulls and Rayman to fall.Raymanarenaps2 wrote:You people need to see this! XD

Happened to me a few times as a kid, though, in those days, I found it more frustrating than amusing.

Usually I try to jump onto the skulls without even hitting them. It's quite fun to do but also adds a great challenge because they fall down as soon as you hit them.

I watched a couple of episodes from the walktrough when I was trying to get all the lums in Rayman 3D.Raymanarenaps2 wrote:You people need to see this! XD

Doesn't Rayman 3D have the 1000th lum glitch?RayTunes wrote:I watched a couple of episodes from the walktrough when I was trying to get all the lums in Rayman 3D.Raymanarenaps2 wrote:You people need to see this! XD

When you say glitch, do you mean the 1000th lum secret from the Tomb Of The Ancients?MetalGearChick wrote:Doesn't Rayman 3D have the 1000th lum glitch?RayTunes wrote:I watched a couple of episodes from the walktrough when I was trying to get all the lums in Rayman 3D.Raymanarenaps2 wrote:You people need to see this! If so, yes it does feature, but it's been broken, the last spiderweb does not let you bounce, the only way to get the final lum is to get hit by a small spider, using the extra height to get to the eye, get the lum, lose control and have Rayman stuck still, pause and return to the Hall Of Doors, and there you have it.

By glitch, he means the feature is broken.
