I disagree actually, after playing it so many times, I kn ow all inside out that I only focus on the beauty and details.Master4lyf1 wrote:When you play a game so many times, the little details can become irrelevant, since you know most of the main thing.

Hmm, perhaps it's just me then, there used to be a time I would stop and gaze in awe at the world, but now, I'm always speeding by.RayFan9876 wrote:I disagree actually, after playing it so many times, I kn ow all inside out that I only focus on the beauty and details.Master4lyf1 wrote:When you play a game so many times, the little details can become irrelevant, since you know most of the main thing.

Re: Rayman 2: Know Your Versions (test)
When I replay Rayman 2 I always stop to take as long as possible to kill a Pirate or anything else. I start f'ing with them and it's really funny to do sometimes. I also discovered a 'hidden' move the Pirates do when you hit them in mid-air. I managed to do it in the SoSaF level, where the first Pirate shows up. I hit him in mid-air, heard the classic 'surprised shaking of the head' sound and then he drew his gun in mid-air and started shooting me before he had even hit the ground. Very cool and something I had definately not encountered before. ... ok that sounded a lot less cool than when I experienced it, but you know what I mean - playing with the enemies to purposefully get them to do weird things. I got Henchman shooting each other, getting stuck, hook-swinging infinately, and the funniest Gorilla-to-Plum troll attack I've ever seen.

Made it 3 times: 5-5-8 xD I haven't played all version so I don't consider that as fair xD I just played DS (Not all the game because the controls were too messed up for me),PC,N64,PSX and WoL in 3DS (3DS promotional bus)
Re: Rayman 2: Know Your Versions (test)
15/18 I've played the N64 (don't like), PC (like), DS (hate) ,3DS (OK), Playstation (weird level design), Dreamcast (great!).

This was a neat thing when I did it originally, anyone feel like taking it now?

Score:
10 out of 18 points
Percentage:
56%
Duration:

I was expecting a worse score, because I've only played through the PC and Playstation versions to completion, meaning I was trying to do a fair bit of guesswork/rationalising.
I've played the N64, DS, and iPod Touch versions, but I played so little of them, I can't say I have real experience with them.
Maybe I should add "play all versions of Rayman 2 to completion" to my gaming bucket list!

Re: Rayman 2: Know Your Versions (test)
I'd forgotten this existed! Perhaps I can create a new test covering the entire series.
Re: Rayman 2: Know Your Versions (test)
Yeah, it would be interesting to know what actually we do know about RO/RL.
