Yeah I noticed when playing other ports of R2 the camera controls are heavily messed up. It's weird since on the PC, the camera's just fine and I never even have to reset it - I just blindly walk somewhere and trust the camera to turn with me, which it does. Never had to turn it manually in my life, except if I wanted to observe scenery. Same with R3.

I had to turn it in R3 many many times to look around but I didn't even know you could do it in R2 (really), both being my PC versions.

The worst version ever for Rayman 2 TGS is RDS.It's the worst version because controls are too uncontrollable (if it's gramatically correct),the "arrows" ,as I always called the control cross, isn't sensitive at all.It was the first time I had to stop playing a game just because of the controls.

And I think that ten years after the first release, they should have at least improved the controls, shouldn't they?

Because NDS didn't have a Analogue stick, thus requiring use of the D-PAD (Directional Pad) to play, which felt awkword, since Rayman 2 was designed for analogue control.
Not much could be done there, though perhaps an improvement in visuals would have been nice.

Well, Super Mario 64 DS had fine controls, so why not Rayman 2?

I don't know, I didn't feel that comfortable with 64DS controls, even using the touchscreen.

I have to admit it's a bit choppy, but much better then Rayman DS.

This isn't the Rayman 2 topic. :|
But even so, the controls for Rayman DS were messed up, I agree.

Yes and it's VGboxart so it's gonna be custom.

What a relief that it was custom because I think it's the worst cover I've ever seen!

I've seen worse. Custom covers. And normal ones too. 1up used to make great collections of awful covers actually.

Of course. It's from VGboxart.com, a site dedicated to making fan-made covers, and most of which are complete shit, such as this one.

Rayman 3 HD Announced

Ubisoft announced today that Rayman 3 Hoodlum Havoc is coming to Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network next year.

Image

Released originally for Xbox, PlayStation 2, and PC back in 2003, this updated version includes high-resolution graphics, 60 frames-per-second gameplay, achievements and trophies, online leaderboards, and improved audio.
So yeah guys, what do you think? It's not an HD trlillogy, but it's the first Rayman 3 remake.

Interesting, though I hope the remake isn't what the image shows, it looks low-res still, like the widescreen "trick."
Maybe it's just me being picky.
