Speaking of death, I saw some clips from the Final Destination series and one of the movies. Right after, I listened to 'No Quarter' by Led Zeppelin. The words- "Walking side by side with death. The devil mocks their every step." stuck out in a rather creepy way. I won't sleep tonight.
Having an enternal life is more scary than being dead forever to me. Its not even the fact that i'd loose everyone I ever cared about sooner or later, but boredom. Its a werid thing to be afraid of I know, but I fear one day everything will just be boring. Just so you guys know also im not looking to die soon I just don't wanna life forever

He might have been referring to the fact that the concept of death is an integral part of the Theory of Evolution, and that the complexity of life on Earth today wouldn't have been possible if biological machines like us didn't die.

I'm only afraid of dying "peacefully" such as at an old age. If I were sacrificing myself for a particular cause important to me then I wouldn't be afraid at all.
I know someone who had a near death thingy.
Hè told me he could see himself 3rd person and it felt like a dream..
I don't know if I should believe him or not..

If theres a way im afraid of dying, its dying from sickness, old age, in terrible pain and things such as those. If I were to die I'd want it quick or in my sleep or of course sacrificing myself for someone else.

You should believe him, but it's not like it really happened. At least, that's what I think. People who have gone through a NDE (near-death experience) have described heaven and whatnot just because of their culture. I think what happens is just like what you see if you take really hallucinatory drugs. Nothing "spiritual" or something.

Don’t knock it till you’ve tried it. I’ve never been very bored, and I doubt that my life could ever become so boring that death is a more enticing avenue. You claim you’d lose all your friends and family, which overlooks the fact that they would be able to live forever by the same means. You also assume that boredom is insurmountable and inevitable – what makes you so sure that an advanced civilisation would never be able to overcome this chemical process? Couldn’t the brain be altered so that contentedness rather than boredom is the default state?

If we could control our biology to the degree that we could make ourselves immortal, I imagine evolution would become quite redundant.

That's actually a very interesting concept. Personally I'm almost never bored (as with Spiral) so that's not something I'm worried about at all.
