Minor spoilers ahead: http://www.gametrailers.com/video/revie ... ins/723802
[Notably, another fight with the boss bird, and smaller, pink versions of the giant eels.]

On the timeline of the game:
[So, it's not a prequel after all? I didn't see it coming, but there sure is a lot to investigate!]

Believe, even If you're not going to watch this, I'm going to tell ya' that the difficulty is a complete bitch. Yeah, it's HARDER than the chest levels
How would anyone be able to do that!? You'd have to have super human reflexes! Also, I'm glad they saved the best music for the last world.

@Drolpiraat As soon as my dad gets home I'm going spoil all the costumes and all the bosses for myself. And Mr. Dark too!
Also, I guess Polokus is pronounced Poe-Low-Cuss to rhyme with Hokus?

I KNEW IT!!! THIS GAME IS NOT (a prequel!

I think it's better like that. Now the "origins" thing is only related to the fact of it coming back to 2d. Also, we will know the origins of the characters just by pulling Polokus' beard. So, if this game is a sequel...everything makes sense now! so that's why the Magician turns evil without breaking the logic of Rayman 1!

And rayman...well... he turned stupid because the rabbids totally washed his brain D:

But my question is...what turned polokus into such a hippie? Did he do bubble-drugs or something? ._.

If you're talking about a spoiler sergiomonty posted in his last post - it's not necessarily true. I won't say anything else as that would be an even bigger spoiler. ;)

No, something from Hunch. I'm very puzzled about it, but I don't mind that. :) Say Droolie, I know you probably aren't going to put it on RayTunes, but do you have the tracks from Origins?

Well, since Hunch said that (not me), I can't tell if what he said is legit or not. But I believe him because...ehm... he's the admin

Ssssh! Don't speak too loudly. Ubisoft might be listening... or wait... I think... I think I hear lums singing?

[In other words, yes I will put it on RayTunes. Asked Hunch what he thought about it - he said I should do it. Thanks to him for that! ^^]

[Please note that this is only a temporary decision; this will depend on Ubi's plans concerning the soundtrack.]

AMAZING SOUNDTRACK!
And one of the sounds Rayman makes when he dies at the very end is the sounds Rabbids make sometimes. :boon:

The original description for the game said that Rayman was 'immature' and 'not quite there' in this game. Sounds to me like the entire plot for the early version of the game has been scrapped, because if you recall there was supposed to be that scene where Rayman was 'born' out of Betilla.

Rayman certainly looks considerably younger than he does in the first three games, that's for sure. The years have obviously been kind to him!

Obviously I would have preferred his original character design (from the first game) but given what we now know, that would make even less sense.

Also, I've just completed the demo. Even managed to get 357 lums on the second level. I actually thought it was fractionally more difficult than some of the more painful levels in Rayman 1, especially the two blue Eels chasing you, which took me five attempts originally.

Agreed on that one, the music from the around the world trailer (also now confirmed to be the music from the Land of the Livid Dead) is easily the best we’ve heard so far, imo.
And oh man do those levels from the trailer look bloody hard! Seems like now is a good time to rediscover my Super Meat Boy reflexes :D

Well, he was supposed to, until ubisoft scrapped that idea to make a story about snoring idiots and a granny :mryellow: ...So, technically, Betilla is no longer Rayman's mother.
