Re: Rayman Origins
I know, Drolpiraat said he put the Xbox 360 demo on his computer and found the script, which contains a wealth of spoilers that I want to read. I could not figure out how to get the demo from the 360 to my PC, so I asked him for some information I was particularly interested in.RayTunes wrote:The demo is only available for the PlayStation 3 and XBox 360. Ok so Rayfist. I've been practicing a lot, and I've been able to reach a 0:30 score!

Re: Rayman Origins
No, the game won't be released for PC along with the PS3, Xbox360 and the Wii versions. It doesn't mean they won't release it for the PC later this year (meaning on 2012).RayTunes wrote: The game will not be released for PC.

Re: Rayman Origins
@R3DS, congrats bro! We should really make a thread right here, right now for people who want to compare times. Ok, now that we've taken care of Swinging Caves, lets see who can get the fastest time on Aim For The Eel!
I wish the demo had a save capability because when I turn my PS3 back after 100% everything just so I can beat someone else's time, it makes me see all those empty spaces and wanna fill them with 100% again. Anyone else feel like this? Anyways, I'll be right back with my top time on Aim For The Eel!

Re: Rayman Origins
So I've been playing around with the controls in RO and been doing a bit of time practace trying to find some stratgeys to get a lower time and while doing the time challange I accedently did his "Spin move" (Not the one you do while running) I don't know how to explain it but it was in A video once.
Been trying to do it again a few times now. (I totaly forgot about the time trial
) trying to find the controls to make that move and the closest I got so far was pressing R1/2 L1/2 (whatever you prefer) run a bit? and press ethier Square or Circle and then make a complete cirlcle with the analog stick. Most of the time I get his spin attack, or him tumbling and sliding all over the ground
but theres those few times that I acullay get the move down.
And awesome score R3DS!
I really don't think theres room to improve anymore so Congrats!

Re: Rayman Origins
I've done some RO gameplay and sometimes I made a strange move that makes Rayman spin his whole body over the ground. I'm not sure what it does and I only managed to catch a glimpse of it twice. Anybody know it's purpose?

Re: Rayman Origins
I managed to pull of that move ONCE. But I haven't managed since. Hold on, lemme switch on my PS3 and try to pull it off.

Re: Rayman Origins
Yep thats the same one i'm talking about, I think its just another attack, it dosen't seem to make rayman go faster or anything.

But at least for WiiRayTunes wrote:The demo is only available for the PlayStation 3 and XBox 360. The game will not be released for PC.Bionichute wrote:Drolpiraat, I couldn't figure out how to get the demo onto my computer, so can you at least tell me if ( Joe or The Musician appear at all?)

Re: Rayman Origins
No it doesn't. Anyway I pulled it off a few more times, but I can't figure out what makes me do it. Anyway I'm gonna get my highest speed on Aim For The Eel!, you?SuperSunshine wrote:Yep thats the same one i'm talking about, I think its just another attack, it dosen't seem to make rayman go faster or anything.

Re: Rayman Origins
I don't think we can really do A time tiral for Aim for the Eel mostly because you have no control over how fact the screen move. Maybe one for who gets the least time in the actual mini boss fight of that stage though.
Also got the Spin move down about 16 times now, still trying to figure out exclaty how to do it...

Re: Rayman Origins
Oh yeah you're right. Alright then lets do one for Murray of the deep!
EDIT: Stupid beebo. Murray of the deep doesn't have one either. DX. Alright back to trying to beat 30 seconds.

Re: Rayman Origins
If you really want to do MotD then we could always use our own timers.
although it may be a bit harder to keep track of.

Re: Rayman Origins
Yeah it wouldn't work out. I don't have my own stopwatch anyway. I envy you people, you can all get like 35 and under! The fastest I have is 42 seconds.
Re: Rayman Origins
Have you figured out the button combo for this move? I want to see it up close.

Re: Rayman Origins
Right now all i know is that Its a combo of pressing the Hit button and doing something with the analog stick (It seems to work sometimes when I make a circle with the anolog stick). I did it once without the need of the run button but it seems to work better when running.
Re: Rayman Origins
Then I'll try it when I get home.
