What the hell? I also noticed they gave 7.5 to TLOZ: Skyward's Sword. I mean, what the ...

I fail to see why these scores are so bad. It's not like you can expect everyone to give a game 9 or 10 all the time, and anything from 7 and up can definitely be considered positive.
Here's a fun fact for you guys: Complaining about a positive score makes you look like an ass.
Yes, I have to say, complaining about a score of 8.5 (which seems very positive to me) is a little bit flippant. It's only 1.5 away from being a perfect 10.
Notice how Origins has actually managed to outdo games like Assassin's Creed: Revelations and Sant's Row: The Third on Metacritic. Nothing to complain about here.
Oh Kumar, you so crazy This is the weirdest ad since Earthworm Jim (remember the creepy granny?)
Oh well, for people who were complaining about the game not being for pc, here you go, it runs perfectly on Dolphin, but...where can I download the game? I dunno xD
Pretty much, EDGE magazine for example gave it an 8 and that to them is a really good score because they are picky as shit. And even Matthew Castle, who is known to really hate Rayman for an ungodly reason, gave the game 88% on CV&G's behalf (man I sure do smell some horseshit in that one though).
So don't keep complaining about anything lower than 9s.
Edit: are we all OK with posting screenshots from the Wii version for the wiki?

Though it still is behind MW3 by a mere point.
Not that I am complaining.
So, 9 days for us Europeans, marvellous...
My hands crave the Collectors Edition, my eyes wish to behold it's magnificence...
It still seems far away.
What vapid, charmless people to advertise your game with. It seems to be more about the celeb (who I don't know) and a crappy sitcom set up than the game itself. This sells the game how? If this was my first time seeing this game this advert would not sell me on it TBH.
Sorry I haven't been about, actually been trying to avoid spoilers haha.
wait, so if this game is not the actual origins than why rayman cant throw his fists?
i thought the whole idea of the slapping is because he havnt got the fist-throwing skill yet...

Then I'm an ass.
Now seriously, I am not saying the 8.5 score is bad, it is still inside my average score expectation of the reviews for RO so I'm not worried about it.
I just find odd comparing with the majority of the reviews out there, but there it is: opinions.

Best ad ever! "Do you think your mom regrets getting pregnant?" Funniest thing ever
I have to agree, perhaps it's because the humour is not tailored towards our cultures...
I mean, I have no clue who this "celebrity" from the trailer is!
I only found the last seconds funnier but the ad in overall, it did disappoint me. I was hoping for something more creative knowing how some North American video game ads are. I hope the Europeans will do something better.

I've seen some trailers for Saint's Row recently and I struggled to understand what exactly the concept of the game was meant to be. Just looked like some characters in fancy dress had been inserted into a Grand Theft Auto game. Seems like just another game for people who like blowing things up and shooting people. Very tedious indeed.
