I heard recently that the Wii U will have afterall compactibility with more than one Wii U controller. It would be really wierd if only one worked.

Well of course, it's a Nintendo system, they wouldn't go all PS2 over us.

PS2 only natively supported two controllers.

Why? It would not be nice, sure, but weird? Wii is compatible with only one Balance Board and nobody complains about this... while to be honest it would make far more sense in multiplayer.

But Wii U's one is a controller. The Wii Balance Board cannot be very well considered as a controller, but yes a specific periferic.

I kinda can't see the difference. Wii Balance Board is a controller. It has 2 or 4 giant analog buttons (I don't remember) and a digital one. What is the technical difference between it and, say, pedals for steering wheel?

The Wii Balance Board has got only the button to power it on. The list of games compatible with it are very limited.

[COUGH] I give you a point for it not being the main controller of Wii, but mentioned pedals aren't usually main controllers either.
Now on it having only one button - it surely has additional buttons, only so resistant that you stand on them. If it had only the power button and nothing else, then it would basically make even less sense.

I don't know how the Wii Balance Board is inside, but it works as a normal scale.

So? Car pedals for steering wheels work just like car pedals for cars. Neverthless they are videogame controllers. The WBB actually does weirder stuff than normal scale does, there are (were in production?) skiing games for it for example and I suppose your scale wouldn't handle that.

Other than the fact that they don't, yes. Other than the fact that in a video game you'd jam the pedal down all the way to go at your normal racing speed, whereas in real life that would destroy your engine. Other than the fact that the car pedal is a thousand times more sensitive. Game pedals/steering work nothing like a real car.

But if we suppose that WBB works like normal scale, then we neglect similar differences.

The SNES is my obvious favourite because I play it so much >_<.....I love SNES games. Especially Super Adventure island. Next up I play my NES and N64. Gameboy advance is my most played handheld system from Nintendo, so I'll go with that one too. I like the DS though. Gamecube and Wii are okay-ish. I don't play those as much as the previous systems.

Hmmmm... Wii as my console, since it's backwards compatible with GC games, and NDS, since it'sbackwards compatible to GBA games
THis is assuming I have to choose a console and handhled.

Well... one of favorite is 3DS. which i have emulator called: Citra.

Citra is available for Windows, although it must run 64-bit to play the decrypted roms.
