According to the dutch manual's description of Rayman, the Nymphs actually had enough lums to give him a complete body, but they became preoccupied with chasing away Zombie Chickens. In all the commotion "some lums went off-side". They fled.

Do the other manuals say the same thing by any chance?

I've got an Aussie copy here in front of me:

"Unfortunately, although not surprisingly, our bedazzling and beguiling nymphs were distracted by some zombie chickens on their way to the Bubble Dreamer's sacred snoring grounds, and they lost a sack of lums chasing the crazy creatures over a cliff. Thus they arrived late and with a lot less illumination."

Loving the game, btw.

The text in dutch is about the same translation. I should read it again thoroughly when I get home.

It looks like the character descriptions in the manual are the same as the ones on the official site. Is there any new info in there at all?

Rayman Origins on PC!!! (unofficial)

Post by NotaKuroi »

Guys, big news!! If you have only PC, it's for you!
1. Download this http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/6826081/Rayman_Origins_[PC-Ready] It's Wii version iso and emulator Dolphin.
2. Setup it
3. Now!! Open Dolphin emulator in game folder and set configurations LIKE IN THIS VIDEO http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gHLQF60DRC8
You need just PC with dual core and average videocard plus 2GB RAM, and you can play in HD with 45-60 fps! Game is playable!!!
I already playing, it's fantastic! :oops2:
But game will be some problems with graphics

People have been doing that for a while now.
If I recall, The music from RayTunes for Origins came from the Wii version, which Droolpiraat also played on Dolphin with.

And don't forget that Droolie also ripped some character sheets from it.

Indeed...
I've got a feeling this topic's going to end up locked, since this could easily have been put in the Official RO thread.

I know. I'm Russian, what you want? :D

It's Ubisoft's guilt - they did not want to make game for PC. If they did - I buy it. Until then it's my revenge to Ubi :pfff:

The music came from the Xbox version.
I have also downloaded this "PC version" before, but it's a lot better to download the newest version of Dolphin yourself and configure it according to your wishes.
The textures so far came from the Wii version though...

I tried this four days ago but it didn't work at all for me.

So I did the big-kid thing and bought the Wii version and ripped it myself.

I found you can fix the messed up cutscenes by setting the render mode to OpenGL and turning Anti-Aliasing to x2.

Regarding my copy, they haven't emailed about it yet but I think the Ubi shop sent it out, cause I checked my bank balance this morning and I think the money I spent on it has been taken. So I'm hoping I can get my copy over by Saturday at earliest.

!%$^&*().
Thanks to anormal exchange rate fluctuations, it turns out I had ~5Ł less than needed on my card, and Amazon didn't sent my copy yet. !@#$%^&*().

Still it's not like I already bought a 360.

I don't know. Were they? I didn't see the new site. Only the old one, and that one's description was different.
