Howdy Illegal!

I didn't get the Gift Basket yet, but it might appear tomorrow. I'm not sure.

I'll see after classes if I have anything in my mailbox. 83

I haven't received it either yet. I'll have to wait till tomorrow - or (hopefully not) next week, as I feared.

By the way, the PS3 textures are on the way. I can already view them properly (and man it's high quality!), the only thing I still have to get to work is the transparency. :)

I could try to help you with that. What kind of file type are they?

So, for those of us in the UK, the wait will finally be over tomorrow. Having said that, I might wait until Christmas to buy it, because I'll have more time to play it then.

Someone here has played Crash Twinsanity? Doesn't the Land of the Livid Dead resemble a lot the Evil Academy from Crash Twinsanity? And that level was hell hard the first time. Second time was a lot easier but still difficult.

A trivia:

The Land of the "Livid Dead"'s spanish name in Rayman 3 was "La Tierra de los Muertos Furiosos" but its name for Rayman Origins is "La Tierra de los No-Muertos".

I just died in the credits. Turns out they start the entire roll of names over again. Not doing that anymore.

I'll start slow with Rayman Origins, mainly because of school. I'm in the tests season again, which means I'll be really busy with school until I get rid of the tests. After, I'll have more time for RO. :mryellow:

Pretty odd then. Thankfully I found a way around it.. a painful way. I had to go and get that skull coin because skipping it would just freeze everything up. Those clouds are so tricky for me so it took a while!

Sweet! I love thos game and it should be a shame that it froze for someone so he/she couldn't enjoy it as much as I do

My copy of Rayman Origins arrived in the mail today (just in time, my 23rd birthday is on Saturday). It's as amazing as I knew it would be.

Question, how long do I have to sprint/swim to get the Sprinter and Fisher King achievements?

Wait....what? I was completely sure there was a level called "Path of the Golems" or something like that! I can't find it, it's not on the wiki :boon: ok, I guess I don't have evidences right now.

Uploaded a few HD textures from the PS3 version here. They're not just on photobucket because photobucket would scale them down - they're huge.

Warning: "magic boobies" included. You probably shouldn't watch those textures if you're afraid of spoilers, too.

I can't convert the textures all at once yet, and some don't open (most of the skins textures, sadly), but I'm still working on it. If there are any requests, just ask. :)

I think they changed it to Mystical Munkeys. :D
On that, I think the stone men are supposed to be stone monkeys now, considering they appear most frequently in Mystical Munkeys and they make a few references to Donkey Kong using them.
( I beat the land of the livid dead and GOD DAMN is that ending disappointing.)

Beat the Land of the Livid Dead for the third time and honestly, the second time was the easiest.
