Re: Rayman Origins
Sea of Serendipity's treasure is challenging. D:
Re: Rayman Origins
Not just challenging.. To me, it's glitched and I can't beat it.
Doesn't that mean I will never reach LotLD?

Re: Rayman Origins
If it truly is a glitch (and I'm assuming it is) there will probably be a patch sooner or later.Spanex wrote:Not just challenging.. To me, it's glitched and I can't beat it.

Re: Rayman Origins
I hope so.
I wonder where one would be able to get that patch from? PSStore/Xboxlive, I'd assume, but what of Wii?

Re: Rayman Origins
If there's a patch available for a PS3 game, the console will alert you every time you put the game disc in. I'm guessing the 360 has a similar setup. I've heard that a few wii games have been patched in the past, so it's possible in any case.Spanex wrote:I hope so.

Re: Rayman Origins
Well, that's relieving. Ubi had better get lots of reports on the glitch so that they acknowledge the problem.
By the way, still no answer from Uplay.

Re: Rayman Origins
Nonono, what I tried to say is that you can have access to all of the tricky treasures, but you don't need all of the electoons for that, you need like 200 to open the path to the last treasure in the Moody Clouds. You can even avoid fighting mr dark and go directly to the land of the livid dead.Oh, and there are 10 skull teeth in the game.Spanex wrote:Wait, how many teeth are there, and how many do you need?sergiomonty wrote:you see? it's not necessary to have a 100% to get to the land of the livid dead
Does that mean I can skip buggy Pirate's Treasure?

Re: Rayman Origins
I had the glitch, but I still beat it after many many many many tries. Have you tried beating it with just regular Rayman? Because that's how I beat it.
Re: Rayman Origins
Original Rayman was the first character I played that area as, and I totaled maybe 15 or 20 attempts by the time I gave up. I've tried a few other characters since, with no change, sadly.Bionichute wrote:I had the glitch, but I still beat it after many many many many tries. Re: Rayman Origins
1. On what platforms do you guys have the game?
2. I will investigate this problem and see if there is the same problem on my PS3 copy. Once I get enough electoons.
I'm up to Ticklish Temples now. I prolly won't do them all in order though.

1. According to people who commented about the glitch on a walkthrough video on youtube, it happens on every platform the game has been released so-far.beebo44 wrote:1. On what platforms do you guys have the game?

2. Okay, you do that.
Just like Ajack, Rayman was the first character I played through the level with. I've since tried on different characters, with no luck. 2 player is beyond my reach for now. My mother wouldn't be able to do it.Bionichute wrote:I had the glitch, but I still beat it after many many many many tries. Have you tried beating it with just regular Rayman? Re: Rayman Origins
On every platform? Well that's just great isn't it. We need to report this to Ubisoft so they can make a patch.
Re: Rayman Origins
Well, at least I'll have AC:Revelations in two days so I can keep myself distracted with that while Ubi makes a fix. I'm curious about what will happen next.

Re: Rayman Origins
Is the "glitch" the part where you wall jump those poles and then they fall down? I had a bit of trouble on that too but I thought it was because I was on the left pole when it fell or I jumped way too high. So after that I just made sure I was heading to the right side when the pole fell and I was successful. I'm using the Wii version btw.
Re: Rayman Origins
Yes, it's the part with the poles, but when the glitch happens, the treasure somehow "teleports" to the end and the screen tries to catch up. It doesn't matter which direction I'm jumping at that point. The end of the screen kills me.
But I'll take your advise and try it when I get there anyway.

RAYMAN HAS HUGE FEATURES DON'T YOU KNOW.
Re: Rayman Origins
Quit it, darnit! XD
Re: Rayman Origins
I gave this a shot, and it's actually pretty difficult. The way the flames on the poles are setup forces you to move in a certain pattern, which inevitably puts you on the left pole when the screen scrolls. I think I managed to stay on the right pole a few times, but the screen scroll just kills me as it always does.Sohzi wrote:Is the "glitch" the part where you wall jump those poles and then they fall down? I should also point out that I didn't even know the pole was supposed to fall until I saw the Youtube video where everything worked fine. For me, the screen scroll kills me before the pole falls.

Re: Rayman Origins
I had this problem too. Try NOT hovering AT ALL at any point in the level! Somehow, that mysteriously fixed the glitch. It made no sense to me what-so-ever, but it somehow worked. It was the very last chest I needed at the end. Even the 200 Electoon Treasure Chase wasn't that much of a headache.Spanex wrote:Yes, it's the part with the poles, but when the glitch happens, the treasure somehow "teleports" to the end and the screen tries to catch up. Also, hot damn! I forgot I was the one who made this thread originally!
