You can write in the wiki, Sergio. I already said that I haven't been reading it since the second half of October. :P

At the middle of the Gourmand Lands (I've just entered in the Infernal Kitchens). I didn't miss any Electoon Cage, Lum Medal, Time Trial Trophy and Skull Tooth so far. :)

What happened to the "I'll rush it the first time, then go back later to 100% it."? :hehe:

Mystical Pique's levels are quite fun indeed.

From what I hear about LOTLD, I can only assume it's going to kill me litteraly.

Well, once I can get there, bring it ON!

Edit: Ubi answered my question about the glitch,

That's just their general response to everything, same as when I was trying to find out what was wrong with the facebook app that goes with Rabbids Travel in Time [didn't need it in the end now that there's Dolphin haha]. Perhaps if they do get enough of them they may fix it? I've had a few crazy glitches myself like Rayman shooting across the floor after sliding, for example. :S

I hope so. The one I have got pretty much stops me from completing the game!

Any news on the handheld versions?
This is old, but I just read that there might be no co-op mode for the handhelds...

And on raywiki it says, that Origins is a sequel to Rayman 3... I tried to google and find a discussion on it here to find some more info, but I couldn't find any.
Could someone explain me what makes this game more of a sequel than a reboot?

Basically, the game is no longer about Rayman's origin.

I don't really know any other reason than that. But I'm not that much bothered about whenever it is a prequel or a sequel.

Ain't that the truth. My regular sitting position is about 4m back from my TV, but I'm finding myself about 1m away (on a beanbag) during most of my Rayman Origins playtime :D I also have to put my hand up as one of the foolish people who chose Globox-Rayman shortly before the second iteration of Sea of Serendipity :fou2:

Finally, Risky Ruin is hella tricky. Really got my heart-rate up, that one.

Same here. I'll try for a 0% helicopter run tomorrow perhaps, but I have a feeling I've already done a few runs like that without thinking.

I've not heard anything re: the handheld versions, though with the Vita out in Japan, it shouldn't be long.

As for the reboot/sequel stuff, this thread is jam-packed with discussion on that topic. Jump back about 20 pages and you'll probably find it.

Basically Origins contains a lot of direct references to the events of the previous games, especially the first two, indicating that it takes place after them. Rayman also knows Polokus, Murfy, Betilla and the Grand Minimus from the very beginning of Origins, which he wouldn’t if it was a prequel or reboot. If you follow the link in my signature you’ll find a longer list of evidence which will hopefully clear things up.

Thanks guys.
They should've changed the games name. But I guess it's unheard of and would have been really weird and confusing for some people... and it would've taken more time to do that (lol, but I wouldn't mind, since I still haven't gotten the game and propably not going to get it 'till the handheld versions are out).

Btw, lately, I've been thinking that if they would release the 3DS version soon, it would get some time to be one of the best 3DS games released.
The best ones currently are games, like Mario 3D land, DoA, RE:M, but none of those are games you could call "full lenght. Obivously, because there isn't even a year since the 3DS came out, developers doesn't really want to go straight into making big games, because they don't know the full potential of the console yet, so there is a chance of, for example, making game so big, that it wouldn't run on the 3DS.
But if Rayman Origins on the 3DS is really going to have the same amount of content as the console versions has, and it plays the same way, it is definitely going to be the first big game for the 3DS. (well actually OoT, even though it's a remake of a really old game, it is a pretty big game too. And RE:R is going to be released really soon, but, like I said, one of the best)

I am so stupidly angry right now, it's been a week now and I STILL haven't gotten my copy of Origins from the Ubi shop. Each time I look up my order number it still says "order in process", surely it can't take that fucking long to process an order for a game that came out a week ago? Sure it's all in Luxembourg but that's not the point, it was supposed to have taken 2-4 days to ship with the standard free shipping...

I'm gonna contact them and see what they're actually doing.

What backgrounds do you want exactly? I can only rip specific things.
Here's a texture pack that includes ALL of Rayman's (normal skin) images and the same for his Globox skin. It also includes all of Globox and Zombie Globox's images.
All of the nymphs [except the LOTLD one - couldn't find her immediately] are also included. And, randomly, some tetris blocks from Gourmand Land and an image of a tree from LOTLD.
