BTW if ya can't tell....I play mostly RPGs and horror genre games, with some platform and puzzle games sprinkled in there, and a few action bits too. And SNES, Famicom, and PSX are my favourite consoles. So I don't know if anyone would actually choose from them for recommended games but if you like mostly older games, theres some nice game gems in there to try!

If we're talking genres, then it's definitely platformers for me. I do enjoy other fast paced games though, like fighters and racers.

2D sidescrolling platformers (with the feeling you know... Rayman and rayman origins both had it)

Don't get me wrong, having seen the game in action, I can understand the appeal, but it's not my cup o' tea.

Picking a favourite genre was once tricky to me, but then I realized how freaking obvious my love for 3D platformers is. These kind of games, and especially the ones in the 90's and the early 2000's, in my opinion have the best amount of creativity put into them and 3D allows them to have more imagination than in 2D. It's just kinda annoying to me how everyone nowadays want everything to be so retroish and 3D platforming is now rare because of that. Not that I don't like 2D though. Just that 3D needs more love.

I like many type of games but i mostly like to play RPG games and "World of warcraft" is my one of the favorite selection .

I like alot of genres but mainly platformers, adventure and RPGS. Aside from Rayman I love the ps1 Spyro and Crash games, Jak and daxter, Ratchet and clank and Sly Cooper. Beyond Good and Evil, Uncharted, Shadow of the Colossus and God of War are awesome too. My favourite RPGS are Final Fantasy VII and IX, Kingdom hearts Chrono Trigger and any Elder Scrolls game. Also anything by Rockstar, love games with well developed characters and narrative!!

I don't see RayFan saying she didn't like them. She simply stated she'd never played any of them.

I actually made a typo; the second 'of'' I corrected to 'or.'

I don't like Kingdom Hearts, Elder Scrolls, Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted and God of War.

The one thing I agree on though is that I love Rockstar. Moreso their newer gen games (GTA IV, Red Dead Redemption, LA Noire, etc). I'm not so much a fan of their previous stuff (including San Andreas).
