How often do you wash your hair?

I've just been wondering lately, as I'm curious to know what others' methods are. Momma always taught me to wash it every other day, but lately I've been letting it stretch to once every one or two weeks. The results? My hair appears to be healthier, thicker and more vibrant than ever. How about you?

When I bathe every Saturday or Sunday (usually Sunday) I proceed to wash my hair too. So one day per week. My long hair demands it.

Before I got sick: 2-3 times a day~ (I took baths all the time, and washed my hair every time >_> )
Now: Once a week if that ._.;

I shower and wash my hair every morning. But that's a matter of personal hygiene, not vanity.

The wierd thing is, I wash it every time I'm in the shower.
And I shower each day.
Yet I'm not concerned about my ''beauty''.

Hah, I like all the varied results.

It depends on your hair too. I just asked my doctor and apparently it's healthiest if I only wash my hair once a week, though for others some might need to do it every day. It depends on how much oil your scalp produces.

Unfortunately with my curly hair, it gets to that point rather fast. So I usually do it 3 times a week, if not 4.

3-4 times a week, that would be every day but I've actually been told I should wash my hair like every single day cause mine is thick as shit basically, plus curly as shit.

While we are on the subject of hair, can we share any tips on how to actually take care of it? Before I had mine cut 4 months ago I had such a terrible time with it cause it was so dry and horrible. Changing from cheap shampoo to a luxury almost natural one like something from Lush felt like a step in the right direction [jsyk I try to avoid animal tested products eg Pantene as much as possible] but it's still annoying as it's getting longer. :/

Meh.

I will be getting a new haircut this tuesday to get more curls out of my hair. I bought a different shampoo for once I have it; maybe it will solve the problem I have.
