Hello there! im a new member but has loved rayman for many many many many years! i have all the games and played them all too! even the learning with rayman ones! (i know!) i even have the old Rayman 3 Magazine which came out only in the UK. anyway, i have seen many people on youtube have made awesome movies using paint and also a buncha sprites, now im making one too! its called Rayman : LEGENDS!
PLOT / Synopsis
The Heart of the world is growing old and un-capable of looking after our world. the great wall of teensies can't hold the darkness back forever, soon, in less than 24 hours, the heart of the world will die, and wall will break, and we too, will die. its up to me, Rayman and my friends to stop the evil darkness, the hoodlums, andre and the darktoons crashing in to kill us and our land. we need as much power as possible to fight back... are you with ME?! We need help from a very special fairy, Betilla the fairy. the one with the powers to stop all this. we need to get to her before THEY do. or we will all suffer. even Polokus can't save us now, not after what happened to him the day before the darktoons broke out...
And there you go! its quite sad, scary and dark, not some 7+ kinda thing. its gonna have, humor, action, romance between characters so whaddya think? thanks for reading here is the link to the video and my channel..

Aw, the Hoodlums return again? Rayman fans seem to adore their villains returning, usually the Hoodlums and sometimes Razorbeard. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the Hoodlums returning is totally overused; I'd like to see an original villain, something rare among the fandom. Just my opinion though.
Other than that point, I like the idea! This is the kind of story I look forward to watching.
Thanks! its not only the hoodlums though, my friend! they're just the distraction, rayman'll meet a couple of new villains and old ones too, but you'll have to wait and see he may even have to team up with one.....

Totally agree ! And the fact to take the vilains of the precedents games is not the best idea, create news vilains with new caracteristiques is better according to me. Anyway, I look forward to watching, good luck

lol, thanks! its just gonna be a paint made thing, im just bored lol i love rayman and i just had a awesome story in my head! No 3D, no mumbo-jumbo! just a cool little frame-by-frame paint edited movie thanks for the welcome:) i may make a game version of it too on game maker 8 some day:)

Also, even more yey for potential future game. Are you experienced with GM8? I personally like using MMF2 for my game creation adventures. ^^
Well, ermm, No. im not good at all with game maker which is awkward, i may make the game then add the paint made cutscences between it, some how, any help given to me will be much appreciated
i just made 30 frames and found out they were all to small.. my god.
That sucks.....you should test sizes and things before you go animating a bunch of stuff.
I'm a fail with Game Maker.
Also cutscenes in paint = epick. I love paint program~ Do you mind if I see your small animation? Are you custom drawing everything by mouse/hand into the program or using altered images/sprites?
hooray! good news everyone! i now know what sprite sheets are! (Doh!) but anyway, now im using sprite sheets provided by sabertooth1000 i think... somewhere anyway! so off i go again, restarting and getting it on, with sprites don't expect a episode anytime soon! i gotta get used to "Sprites". im not so tech-know-it-all xD

Well, im not really sure to be honest. i don't know if i should use my voices for characters, they're good but im not sure! i have a camera and stuff but im not even that far in yet! i may even get people to narrate with me! (special gueeessstttsss!) lol, but yes i MAY voice in the film, but not for a while yet!
