Isn't it obvious? Andrew is actually Mr. Dark! It all makes sense now - Andrew decided that his British accent is enough for him to become a supervillain so he became Mr. Dark but held it in secret from his cousin, the Magician. Andrew sent the letter to his cousin, knowing he doesn't know English (at least in this version of the game). He knew that the Magician wouldn't understand and would send Rayman on the quest. Mr. Dark/Andrew knew Rayman was at the time young and retarded, so he filled the world with easy questions, where the wrong ones end in death on Rayman's side. So basically, he just wanted Rayman to die, and thought up an evil, cunning plan. And after Mr. Dark died/was defeated, the Magician found out it was actually his cousin. Wanting to avenge the death of his family member, he decided to impersonate Mr. Dark (which he was also secretly hoping to do, because he found Mr. Dark a pretty cool guy).
What's with the insane amount of ingredients in Andrew's magic formula?
58/38 litres of irish spring water?! 281 kg of cocoa butter!? That's a lot! And counting exactly 7942 scottish spider eggs doesn't sound too fun!
Probably has something to do with... The theory...

I think that some of it will become clear to you when you see the ending. Some of it, not so much. ;P
Currently uploading the next part, which should be up with annotations some time tonight (hopefully not too much later then now).
I have to admit, most of the year spent making the play-through was a massive gap though - as I encountered an issue involving video editing software and the death trap "please edit out all the replays" level 'At School' which lasted from January until November . It has been a lot of fun though, particularly as not many Rayman fans seem to know of this game.
Also, the next level is the last one containing any educational content

And you can bet for sure that I'm gonna WATCH THAT VIDEO.
No idea if I can get it up tonight, as I have holiday homework to be getting on with as well. it also depends on if any video editing is required (I doubt it, because I don't recall failing - unless I was half asleep when I recorded it. Oh wait, I was )

Hehe, okay then. You have homework over the end-of-year holidays? D:
Yeah, I always do - it never changes for me no matter what school I'm at, particularly now that I'm studying A levels. It's not too much though, just a little bit of work that was supposed to be class work (moved aside by class vote to do some end of year Christmas quiz), transcribing a stand up comedian and analysing a piece of text which I wrote myself.
I've also been updating the English with Rayman articles on Raywiki. All the levels up to 'Numbers' have articles now, and none of them are (to my knowledge) in a stub-by condition.
If only I'd taken a save state of the ending. I have to play the final level again to get to it, and it is rather annoying, despite the fact that I manage to somehow complete it in about 2 minutes on the video. I had to actually record the final level and ending twice, because the first time it didn't come through. I was scared I'd never manage to do it again !

Okay then! Once the English with Rayman series is done, I might write a funny fanfic based off it. And also, I wonder if anyone has a full translation of the intro? Even though I can tell what's going on, I still wanna know what the Magician says...
Sadly, you'll have to get someone else to do that. I really do not know Spanish, as you can tell from my playthrough XD. I could try and listen to the French intro, as I'm vaguely good at that (not really, I suck) and see what I can get from it

Yeah, I think there are a few speakers of both English and French on the forum anyway, I'm sure someone could help you out with the French intro.
