Help me

Post by Bretes »

Help me. I have a cd with many risks and i can not play the game from ps1. Necronomicon the Darwing of Darkness. The game not pass in a sequence of video. What can I do to eliminate them? Water for example? And some people says in the Internet that for small risks toothpaste will help. Tell me something good and safe. Thanks for your help!

I can't guarantee you that works but maybe you should talk with Cairnie. She solved her problem of her Saturn version of Rayman 1 disc.

Not sure what the PM was for when I could just give my input here [for others too] but OK...

I've actually tried various things for my Saturn copy of Rayman [the second one, not the one I got clear glue all over] like CD cleaner, but in the end I had to resort to getting it sent to www.cd-repair.co.uk for a small fee...they do non-UK services for a little extra I think, but it was worth it because they managed to fix a disc that wouldn't load past the title either; with the less damaged copy of Rayman they couldn't fix it entirely but it was good enough. They couldn't do anything for the ones with glue on though and they put a note saying so.

The internet has various ways of cleaning and removing scratches from a disc, so far I've only tried the toothpaste one but that didn't work for me, not sure about other stuff like wax and that.

I don't know what it's like where you are but we have local CD cleaning services as well, again for a small fee though I haven't tried it.
