Oh, yes. Doctor Nitro Gin is quite the character. However, I like Neo Cortex more - he's villanous, yet really funny and like the classical parodical bad guy from comedy movies like Austin Powers.TeensieKing wrote:That's what I call an awesome character!

I didn't say Spanex is the concept artist, I meant she would be able to actually create a good concept of the kind in which you're looking for far better than I can.that3Dguy wrote:but i asked spandex he had no idea he was doing the conceptsRayFan9876 wrote:I said ask Spanex, I've actually said that about eight times.that3Dguy wrote:ok great and who did you say was going to do the concepts of joe?RayFan9876 wrote:I guess it can be based off of Rayman 1, but make it even funkier.that3Dguy wrote:hey for joe do you need his ufo from rayman 1 to be built like that or a new ufo?

So you'll make a character of that tipe? AWESOME!
Re: Rayman (1.5): Revenge of the Dark
That chara, Gin is from Crash!
It was revealed the reply by Shroobie! >;D
Re: Rayman (1.5): Revenge of the Dark
I have no idea what Lianna just said, but as we both are CB fans we are aware that a character resembling N.Gin would be a masterpiece!

Actually I didn't reveal it was from CB, but we all know who the characters are anyway, so I needn't clarify. What I also like about Nitro Gin's name is not only is he nitrogen, but also his abbreviated form is pronounced 'engine'.Lianna - with Shrooblord edit wrote:That character, N.Gin, is from the game series Crash Bandicoot! This fact was revealed in the reply by Shroobie! >;D
I really would like to know what role all these special characters play in your game, but I do also not want any spoilers - because, you know, I'm me. Oh, the calamity!

Re: Rayman (1.5): Revenge of the Dark
It would be awesome a cameo or appearance of N. Gin but I don't think RayFan will like that idea...Anyways that name of "Nitro" Gis isn't confirmed,I don't actually know where did it come from but Naughty Dog never revealed his N's meaning, and I don't think another one with the right could reveal the truth about a character they haven't created. No offense, just saying...
I'd love that the character in this game had too that robotic voice and some cool phrases like that of "Sooo...you wanna go a few rounds? When this is over,we'll see who's obsolete!"

Actually I particularly liked the phrases he used in Twinsanity - and this is until now one of my favourite Crash games - though I can't think of any right now.TeensieKing wrote:I'd love that the character in this game had too that robotic voice and some cool phrases like that of "Sooo...you wanna go a few rounds? Rayfan, you should definately add some sort of steampunk character to the game - NO WAIT! - I will do so in mine!

Re: Rayman (1.5): Revenge of the Dark
Just a question: the Hoodlums won't be in ROTD, will they? I mean, it was supposed to be timed before R2, right? Too bad - I'd like to hear the Hoodoo theme once more... redone by yourself, of course. Maybe you could include some kind of easter egg, like in R3 there was the Last Supper with Robo-Pirates.
The only reason I'd really like to see Hoodlums again is because of the Hoodoo... that theme is amazing. I don't know why but it's really stuck in my head like one of the best themes from R3.
Also, what are you up to, music wise? You work at your school's library, right? I'd like to learn a bit more about how you record those other instruments like the sax you have at home. And your house must be massive! The list of instruments you possess... then again, here's me talking: I have a tiny house yet in manages to fit in a drumkit (quite a large one too - with 4 cymbals), a piano, congas, trombone, guitar, guitar, guitar, bass guitar, ukelele (though what kind of space does that take up, right?), 4-5 foot tall amplifier for that bass, ... aaand a keyboard upstairs.
Hmm... ok I see how you can have many instruments now too.

It would be easier to write '3 guitars' or 'guitar3'.Shrooblord wrote:guitar, guitar, guitar,

Re: Rayman (1.5): Revenge of the Dark
Yes, but that wouldn't have quite added to the effect of my summation, now would it? By the way, one of them's acoustic, one of them's semi-acoustic and the last is full electric, so actually, what I did was right - as it's not 3 types of the same guitar.Rulez wrote:It would be easier to write '3 guitars' or 'guitar3'.

Re: Rayman (1.5): Revenge of the Dark
I'll just point out that "guitar^3" still means "one guitar."
@Shroob:
I've been working on some music, though much more specific this time. I've recreated the Dream Forest music, and it's far more fitting and clean this time.
And as requested, here's my stuff and how I work it:
Electric kit:

Acoustic kit + various cases:

From left to right:
Flute, oboe, alto saxophone, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, 5-string bass, djembe drum, didgeridoo.

Two keyboards:

Acoustic piano:

Amplifiers and Boss GT-10 pedal board:

My trusty two SM57's I use to record in mono and stereo:

MBox2 audio interface:

From my MIDI devices into Mac/Logic and from MBox2 into PC/Pro Tools (although I'm not mixing at the moment, so I felt like playing Grand Theft Auto):

You'll notice my Mac is all hooked up into another monitor, but that's because the screen has a giant crack in it. I deal with it though when I'm at school. In the school library I click in the notes and such, but sometimes I might bring along a small two octave keyboard. Tracks like "The Land of Unimportant Proportion: Various Ventures" I've made completely at school (in part 22).
Everything aside from my acoustic piano and kit are in my relatively small room.

That would be a tiny house. Unless you live in Pol-Pusianka wrote:Are you fucking kidding me?! You could buy a house for the money you spent on the instruments! Mother of god!!!!
No, but really, our prices for habitations are well better than everywhere else in Europe etc. - and the instruments are cheaper over there.
