Wow, that first piece is very amazing to me. I can definitely feel the city in it, even if you hadn't described it below. Or rather the emotional vibrations within the idea of a city, but that can be applied to other things as well.

I'm a sucker for abstract art, and have sold pieces of my own abstract art for upwards of 500$/piece before (proof that there are people who will even BUY this - it isn't as unappreciated as most think) :P, namely my 'Propagation' series (depicting the idea of procreation, multiplication, and movement through generations in it) back in highschool and college. I still have one of the paintings somewhere that was the last piece of the series. I had offers of people to buy it, but I kept it because it was like the final one and i wanted to keep a part of that series with me forever.

Abstract works on a deeper, more emotional level with individuals (those who can understand it). If you can bring out someone's emotions, or stir them up when they eye your art, you have a market for this. Abstract is like painting an idea of the object without painting the full object. It takes a special type of skill and I think you might have some of that naturally. Just keep painting it. Looking forward to more.

Well said Kurui. :) But like any other, it's a preference. I myself am not that big on abstract art, but I appreciate it just as well.

Nono, you misunderstand. This is bullshit:

Can you please get out of this thread? This is certainly not the place, and you didn't even read my last post. All you are being right now is a disgraceful idiot in here, so leave.

I'm sorry if my words have given RayTunes any mental anguish (something I have seen no indication of), but my opinion remains that his statement about humanity's movement through time is pretentious bullshit. My last post was made for the purpose of clarification, because RayTunes seemed to think I was referring to his entire art project as bullshit, and that does not justify your reaction.

May I also remind you that it is not your place to take it upon yourself to be insulted on other people's behalf, or to make imperative statements about whether other members should be allowed to voice their opinions or not. PM me if you violently disagree to this.

Moving back to abstract art I made this piece of my own, I call it "Fuck Serza can't draw her own countries flag".

As you can see it shows the deep frustration of me not being able to draw the flag on the microsoft paint package. It also shows my deep passion for my country as I drew the St Andrews flag and not the Union Jack. Overall this piece shows pure passion and pride of ones country and yer despair of not being able to draw it as good as it should be.

Yep, Salvador Dali. ;)

It reminds me I have to make a work about Impressionist Art for History of Culture and Arts subject. May Monet's soul help me.

I was playing Minecraft, but since a bunch of people just broke into my house, I thought I'd take a little break and come here.

Anyway,
You misunderstand Tobbe, but It's because I put it down incorrectly.

Dali, that's his name! I was wondering.

I bet I can make a better flag then you Serza. :P
