Re: Crash Bandicoot
I actually like Crash of the Titans and Mind Over Mutant. They are good games in their own regard. However, they would be better if they weren't Crash games. That is the problem. And yes, Haruka, N. Gin is freaking insane in the new games.

Re: Crash Bandicoot
I agree, whilst I don't really like them, I think the concept is quite cool, but it would have been better if it didn't replace the pre-set formula that gave Crash his name.Henchman1028 wrote:I actually like Crash of the Titans and Mind Over Mutant. As for N Gin. I've preferred him from older games, where his voice sounded computerised.
Re: Crash Bandicoot
Also, Gin is still my favorite Crash character; his voice (before Nolan North) sounds soo much robotic, his species is supposed to be a robot.
Re: Crash Bandicoot
I used to love Crash Bandicoot, ranging classics to Twinsanity. Before Titans would come out, I hated what they did to the characters and general style. Then I changed my opinion. I've since changed it back.
It's sad how he's become "forgotten" over the last few years. I know there's a few movements going around to bring him back, but I'm very unsure of how it would all turn out. If they fail, well, he's pushing polygonal daisies. If they succeed, there's no guarantee that he'd come back in the classic style and conventions. And if he did, even it could turn out not so great. To complicate things, the property to Crash Bandicoot is now owned by Activision, who get themselves a lot of hate.
What to think, what to think

Re: Crash Bandicoot
Some Crash fans are hating to much Radical because they like the Classics (Naughty Dog to Traveller Tales)... I think Vicarious should come back Crash as a new game, Crash 3D: Uka-Uka Resurrection! But Crash is not pretty cancelled and had two iPhone games, Crash: Nitro Kart (iPhone) and Crash: Nitro Kart 2... Activision is just ok for the character comparisons...
Re: Crash Bandicoot
Lately I've been wondering what it would be like if Crash Bandicoot had had his own cartoon show.

What? Twinsanity is superior because it actually has something to do with the ND era.sonyplaystation wrote:The only one of the newer Crash games i liked was Crash tag Team Racing

Re: Crash Bandicoot
I think the classical games was even better Crash-bandicoot-like than the newer ones, such as Crash of the Titans or Tag Team Racing. But the world always need changes.

Not to such an extent.Rayrobi wrote:I think the classical games was even better Crash-bandicoot-like than the newer ones, such as Crash of the Titans or Tag Team Racing. But the world always need changes.
Twinsanity is my favourite, and to be honest, I think it shows new concepts without forsaking the old formula to the extent that Titans did.

Re: Crash Bandicoot
There's rumours of a new Crash Bandicoot game slated for this year.

If it's true, I hope to hell that it's not another revamp like Titans or Skylanders.

Re: Crash Bandicoot
To be honest, I just wish Activision sell the IP to a more capable developer, in the time Crash has been with them, he's literally crashed and burned.Smega wrote:There's rumours of a new Crash Bandicoot game slated for this year.

And God-forbid they go Skylanders on Crash, it's bad enough seeing Spyro in that hideous mutated form (Let it be known I'm not against the game itself, more against Spyro's presence in the game which seems to infer that he was put in for his rep' in gaming in order to gain more popularity).
Re: Crash Bandicoot
That's probably not going to happen.Master4lyf1 wrote:To be honest, I just wish Activision sell the IP to a more capable developer, in the time Crash has been with them, he's literally crashed and burned.
