Picture City is the worst part in the whole Rayman 1, in my opinion. After a player beating it, he can beat the rest of the game without bigger problems. :P

She's the hardest boss of the whole game. I find Mr. Dark and Skops easier and quicker to beat than her.

I'm going to find that battle very interesting. I entered Eraser Plains with about 13 lives, and left with zero lives and one health point. Funnily enough, that's how I left Mr Sax's Hullaballoo! I guess I am more motivated to defeat a boss when I'm on the brink of Game Over.
It's not battling Space Mama the first time that I found difficult, it was dealing with those incredibly annoying pirates at the beginning!!! I'm going to watch videos of the second fight with Space Mama over and over until I know her every move... Even then, no guarantees. :fou2:

Picture City was my favourite when I was little...but for the colours and stationary theme...not the gameplay :P

In other news - I now have access to a PSP, which means handheld Rayman...PS1 style Image

Actually I think that's pretty normal - when you're faced with 'beat the boss or do it all over again' your brains tell you you won't like picking the second choice so they fully concentrate into beating that boss until you do it.

Yeah me too. She's like the climax to the game, while you would expect Mr. Dark to be.

It is important knowing how Space Mama behaves during the two battles, especially the last one. Normally when a player does not know her well, she can kick the ass of anybody.

Ah yes, Space Mama's first encounter was what lead me to lose all my continues on Rayman Advance. Back then I didn't realise how much that would make life harder later :oops2:. Of course, life is impossible now because my save game is corrupted but enough about that...

Fortunately I've seen R1 cartridges for GBA in eBay for ridiculously cheap prices.

All of the other save games work fine. It's more the case that I spent ages getting the game that far, and I now have little faith in it (EG. I don't want to start a new game, get really far again and have the same thing happen twice :P)

It looks like a penis. And it looks like he's jacking it.

Spiral, may I ask you - don't you think RayFan's been acting just a teeny bit fucked up lately?

I hope he's all right.
