The voices in my head
How do you read the voices of RPC members?
I always imagine Haruka having a deep voice with a Russian accent.
And Spiraldoor always sounds like Golden Voice man to me.
RayFan always sounds like a young, four year old girl, due to several jokes of that nature.
DesLife always sounds like Dora the Explorer for obvious reasons, which is quite funny due to her no nonsense nature, ahahaha.
RayTunes sounds like an autotuned voice in my head.
My own voice sounds monotonous and robotic to me (yes, even the parts where I laugh, hahaha).
Serza has had a Scottish accent ever since she got the drinking rank, heh.
Hunchman sounded like a generic 'gruff' guy to me, but ever since playing Portal 2, he sounds like Cave Johnson, haha.
There are others but I can't really remember them all, hahaha. Oh, here's one that isn't really related to RPC: all 'generic' text, like error messages or the narration in a book sounds like robot Morgan Freeman with a British accent to me. I had to force myself to start reading things like that, but it has definitely improved my life to a great degree.

Scottish accent won't cut it i'm afraid.
There's a wide variety of Scottish accents, the most popular being the Glaswegian accent not even I can understand sometimes.

Thanks! Unfortunately, as a highly respected user of the Rayman PC, I am not allowed to share my anti-aging technique.ParadoxJuice wrote:RayFan always sounds like a young, four year old girl, due to several jokes of that nature.
For me, I hear Haruka's voice as her own voice, since I've Skyped with her before.
Spiraldoor to me sounds like Mister Dark, when he does his little laugh.
Shrooblord has a high, round voice, the kind of person who always wears a big smile and answers questions when they are asked.
RayTunes has a low, nasally voice, but it's certainly not annoying.
PowerPatrick sounds sort of like Scout to me, even though his actual voice has a thick accent.
MLII has a giggly voice.
Serza has a Jersey accent for some reason.
And Hunch woe sound like the French people from Monty Python and The Holy Grail.

I agree with paradox.
But... What kind of voice do you guys think I have?

Re: The voices in my head
Interesting description. Though it's hard for me to sound exactly like the Scout, but it's actually not so far from it. My voice varies a lot between deep and light, depending on my mood and how energetic I am. It can sound pretty mumbling when I'm speaking with low tones for example. I suck at describing voices.RayFan9876 wrote:PowerPatrick sounds sort of like Scout to me, even though his actual voice has a thick accent.
And more about DesLife, having a really monotonous, but pretty calm voice, almost sounding autistic while not being one.
But can be pretty close to a grown up French speaking Dora when singing, eheh.
By the way, let's all record our voices in the end and compare. We all say a phrase like: "All hail the Great Flying Poo"

In my head you kind of sound like an upper class, slightly autistic fellow, with a mild, general European accent.ikke471 wrote:I agree with paradox.

I'm curious to know how many others read my voice as a whiny four-year-old.

The voices in my head keep telling me to do things. TERRIBLE THINGS!
Re: The voices in my head
I just read the comments, but I have to say, if I wasn't myself, I would read my comments in a troll voice.

Re: The voices in my head
I kinda read your posts with a mild accent and some voice skipping stuff (ya know that stuff that happens when you're in puberty)

My thoughts exactly.spiraldoor wrote:I have never imagined voices while reading posts. Do you guys do this all the time?

You guys have such an image of Portugal...
I always imagined Mr. Dark's voice for some reason. And Spiraldoor always sounds like Golden Voice man to me.
I heard RayFan's voice already and I was expecting a more Americanized accent. Same thing for Stacey (but with British accent of course) but I was expecting a deeper voice.
I also heard DesLife before, but before that I for some reason imagined the voice like André in the French version of Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc.
