Re: The Tim Burton Thread
I used to consider myself a Burton fan, but then I realized that the movies I liked were all directed by Henry Selick, namely Nightmare Before Christmas. The only Burton directed movie I liked was Sleepy Hallow, and even that was kinda meh. I dont really like how the only two people he uses are Johnny Depp and that other chick who I can't think of her name at the moment

Tin Burton was great once, but a lot of his more recent work (Planet of the Apes, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Alice in Wonderland) has been pretty dreadful. I hope he recovers someday.

Re: The Tim Burton Thread
I thought Planet of the Apes was well done. I found one of the most interesting parts about the movie to be when it showed the apes learning to talk, and when Caeser yelled "NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!" in objection to Tom Felton telling them to get into the cage.spiraldoor wrote:Tin Burton was great once, but a lot of his more recent work (Planet of the Apes, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Alice in Wonderland) has been pretty dreadful. My Visual Education teacher of the 8th grade recommended me to watch The Nightmare Before Christmas and Corpse Bride, but I never had the opportunity to watch.

When you have free time you should watch them, they're both some of the most exemplary movies of their genre.Haruka wrote:My Visual Education teacher of the 8th grade recommended me to watch The Nightmare Before Christmas and Corpse Bride, but I never had the opportunity to watch.
