If you modify the Ubi.ini file in the PC version, you can play the game in true Widescreen, the only downsides are that the HUD and the Menus are screwed, and cutscenes will play, but they won't show.Smega wrote:Fixed cutscenes, as in... ?Master4lyf1 wrote:Nothing much, but to have a widescreen release complete with proper HUD, fixed cutscenes, ONLINE leaderboards where pros will trash we lesser amateurs and proper trophy/achievements that are LINKED to accounts as opposed to mere claims, all for a price of £7.99, seems reasonable to me.
When I say fixed cutscenes, I mean that R3 HD will be playable in WIdescreen with viewable cutscenes

I wonder if they'll redub any of the dialogue.

Re: Rayman 3
I hope not, the original diologue was fine IMO.
Re: Rayman 3
Yes, I suppose, but since the original release of Rayman 3, they've changed the pronunciation of Lums from "lumbs" into "looms", as shown in the manual for Rayman Origins. I just wondered if they would redub some of the lines of Rayman 3 HD to pronounce it "looms".Rainbow_Dash wrote:I hope not, the original diologue was fine IMO.
Also at one point, Murfy says "See you in Rayman 4". How would "See you in Rayman Origins" sound?

I doubt they'll make such minor alterations like that. If they were subtitles then it wouldn't be a problem, but for logic's sake, they aren't going to call in Billy West just to have him re-record two words.

Re: Rayman 3
That would be weird. They should just leave the dialogue the way it is.

i don't really see why they would change the dialog.
it seems fine the way it is.

Re: Rayman 3
Changing the dialogue is asking too much from Ubi.
I'd rather it stay as is anyway.

That's true. I don't thought this.RayFan9876 wrote:I doubt they'll make such minor alterations like that. If they were subtitles then it wouldn't be a problem, but for logic's sake, they aren't going to call in Billy West just to have him re-record two words.

I don't think either that they would bother themselves to fix some glitches.

Rulez, were you kidding?Rulez wrote:The whole Reflux fight is a strange sex metaphor. First, the build up. Notice how in the first fight Reflux is small, then he gets big, then starts flying away. That's a fucked up, yet true metaphor. Then you and Globox fly around and you shoot him in a target and then he gets an orgasm and freezes. Then the sperm (hoodlums) have to be killed by you and Globox, the condom duo. You kill them so you don't get Reflux pregnant. My work is done.

Mind you, listening to Rulez reactions to some other posts with some hilarious (but probably unintentional) undertones is quite an amusing pastime.
Re: Rayman 3
Oh and the best part of the battle is not the flying part, but the parts before it. When Reflux is small, he shoots some small portions of this strange liquid, or sometimes another attack. He has a shield (a condom) that you have to break beacuse safe sex is soooo 90s. After that he grows (yeah I know) and you have to go tactically to the whole thing. You have to go around the head area and get up to him then attack the spot that gives the most pleasure. After that he begins to fucking fly away! So you have to go after him and finish him. You have to watch out because this time he shoots out really large portions!Master4lyf1 wrote:Mind you, listening to Rulez reactions to some other posts with some hilarious (but probably unintentional) undertones is quite an amusing pastime.
