Yeah I think it did come out yesterday, we ol' Euros have another whole week or so yet.

I was about to try a vita again at a store the other week but some kids kept hogging it and pushing in front of everyone; didn't have Origins on anyway I don't think.

Some news I'd like to share, not major, but something that I'd like to point out

The Psychlops enemy from the game was based upon Jano for his one-eyed, monstrous appearence (discovered this in small text in one of the Daily Bubble backgrounds, where the Psychlops was named 'Janod', possibly after Jano.

That is all :)

Yeah, I noticed that they were called 'Janod' in the game's files and wondered if it was a call back of some sort

It would be cool if the 3DS version also shared the same contents as Vita. If Vita has got no multiplayer, then I think the same might happen with the 3DS version.

Is this old news?
I love that quote:
"It asks the player to enter a world that we might have imagined in our childhood, and rarely since."
Also good news, my friend got the Vita version of Origins, and he said he might be able to record himself getting the relics.

That doesn’t necessarily have anything to do with Jano. One of the developers who worked on some of the Rayman games is named Michael Janod; it could just be a reference to him or some other kind of in-joke.

Apart from "nintendofanboy" who could do with a falcon punch [who the fuck judges a game this badly based on a port?], so far so good. :)

Heh, look at what this obvious fanboy wrote on the Wii version:
Marioisawesome wrote:Terrible game with no real price tag worth it. Awful cheesy cartoon graphics, bland game play, no good cut scenes, bad level design, and an overrated unappealing piece of **** that deserves to be burned in the sun.
What's even more amusing is that if you look at all their reviews, either a 10 or 0 is given, 10 to every Mario game he's reviewed, even SMB2/SMBUSA, and it's clear that there is bias, but that's in the name.
The only other game with a 10 from this fellow is Sonic Generations 3DS.

People need to learn to review, not just type shit and give either full or null. :pfff:

:tssk: I really don't understand how there are many people who like Sonic games. For me the only "ok" ones are the ones of Mega Drive generation. And even like that, Sonic's universe does not attract me at all.

:boon: Someone send a gangster group to make him going to a hospital! I never read such bullshit and dishonest opinions.

I gotta say I don't agree with you.
Sonic's first 4 games where awesome.
The adventure series was good.
After that thing began to go downhill... until sonic colors came out wich was actually really good but it didn't have the awesome feeling of the first 4 games.
And now with sonic generations we have another awesome sonic game.

I don't censorship you by you enjoying Sonic, but as a platformer fan myself Sonic is one of the fewest cases of platforming games that do not attract me. I think they play "too much alone". When Sonic starts to gain speed I have no idea what I'm doing. :confus:

Other than Mario & Luigi RPGs and Paper Mario I don't see how anyone can even find Origins less aesthetically pleasing than the more recent Mario games -__-, plus I heard SG on 3DS is the inferior version...

That's exactly what makes is so good a platformer that goes really quick so you have to react quick and think fast (some people do not like this and some people do) but it's defenately not a bad platformer (at least the oldest ones are not)

First My Little Pony, then Earthworm Jim and now Sonic the Hedgehog? What is going on here?

So, has anyone heard anything else about these alleged 'relics'? The only information I can find online is from descriptions and reviews of the Vita game. It's a shame there aren't a large abundance of Rayman fans in America to show us stuff :P
