Rayman's girlfriend?!

I've heard that Rayman will have a girlfriend in Rayman 4,

What do you think about that?

Personally, I think Rayman should just stay single, but on the other hand I think that a relationship can make the story a lot deeper.
+ I think that they want to get rid of Ly, she hasn't shown up in the newer games.

Another question, which characters do you think should come back in newer Rayman games?

I agree, I also liked Clark a lot, I think he's one of the coolest characters.

I remember i got a story about Rayman once ago from my friend. It's end was that Piedone, the dromedar-sheep globox (xD) wrote in his diary, that since Rayman saved the world once again, he'd go home to Raygirl and Raykid and they lived together in harmony.
This story is about to stop André's world-ruler plans, by getting the 5 elemental orbs ( the fifth was in the sun ) in different points of the world that are reahed through the Hall of Doors. Many of the inhabitants, such as teensies and baby globoxes helping Rayman on his quest. Unfortunately i don't have the full story.

I don't think it's necessary for him to have a girlfriend. For other video games characters, a loving relationship can be interesting, but not for Rayman. Anyway, if Rayman has a girlfriend one day, she will be a part of the backstory, like Uglette for Globox. I hope too her name will not be Raygirl. It's too easy.

For the other characters, if all the characters from Rayman 1 and 2 could come back in a new game, it will be marvelous. By the way, if characters from Rayman 1 come back, I think they will be reelooked, or become Teensies, like the Magician and the scrapped Photographer. Because now, it seems that Rayman can be the only limbless thing in the Glade of the Dreams.

Well...
Besides The Electoons, his Dark counterpart and the Stone Men at the least, there may be more.
(Some like to think Tarayzan remains limbless, though I've heard the original script for RO had him as Rayman's cousin and a failed first attempt at bringing a saviour to fight Jano. Joe the E.T. could remain limbless, since he isn't a member of the world anyway.)

Though Rayman is unique in more ways than one, such as his ability to turn silver lums into powers.

Yes, there are some exceptions. Like the Electoons (Strangely, they haven't got limbs now, like the Antitoons/Dartoons) or the Stone Men. But it's not like the people. They are special creatures. The Electoons are a creation of Polokus, the Darktoons, the Stone Men and other monsters are nightmares of Polokus. So some of them can be limbless.

Also, Tarayzan being Rayman's cousin is an interesting concept.

This two characters seems to have family relationship, indeed. If Tarayzan comes back in a new game, he will certainly be limbless, due of this.

There's a backstory to these events, I can't remember the exact details, but I think it was a warship in the initial invasion, at the beginning, Ray and Ly fought and defeated those onboard this ship.
