I’m not saying that this is a bad thing; only that Digimon was the first thing that popped into my mind when I saw Reshiram and Zekrom.
That is the perfect description that I've been looking for for a long time. As soon as I had seen the new Pokémon, I was turned off them for that same reason. They seem to now be mostly roundish, smooth creatures without textures. They seem a lot more random than creative. And yes, they look very much like Digimon.
Exactly! Always thought that! Well I think everyone, liking 5th gen or not, will agree we can't compare the cute and simple look Jigglypuff had with the weird look Audino has...for example

Jigglypuff was one of the weakest designs in the original games. I had to look up Audino on Bulbapedia, as I haven’t actually played Black or White, but from what I can see, it appears to be a rather ugly retread of Chansey.

Actually I like Audino and hate Chansey lol Jigglypuff has always been awesome for me.But for example,Clefairy had a simple design, but still cool, while new Pokémon,like...Hydreigon,have more complex designs but still aren't as cool as 1st-3rd gen's.

Mostly, I prefer the oldest designs, especially the really rare ones like Mewtwo or ... no, just Mewtwo actually, in that list. I also liked the names a lot more. Ghastly is such a good one, for example. The new names just seem like they've been thrown into a random letter mixer and then altered so they're actually pronouncable-ish. From the new series, it's again only the legendary ones that catch my eye. Especially Dialga is one of my favourites. Darkrai's pretty cool and I like the name Deoxys and its ability to morph into whatever it likes. For the rest, I'm not all that aquainted (?) with the Pokémon characters nowadays. I guess the cuter ones like Plussel and Minun (or whatever) still fit the bill, because they remind me of old Pokémon.

He wasn't being gen specific, he said "new series"
Though I think "newer" would work better, since chances are Gen 3 will be having it's Gen 5 facelift soon.

Really: viewtopic.php?p=663314#p663314

I don't think the last couple pages have had anything to do with Rayman 2.

Well that's a dumb question, isn't it? Ubisoft already used up their whole porting energy bar on removing Globox Village.

I'm sure all 3D versions of Rayman 2 have The Walks Of Life and Power...
It's part of the Hall Of Doors, it probably would be more effort for Ubi to remodel the Hall for their removal than it is to just leave it.

It does.
I've played the RDS and I can distinctly remember how much a pain it were to get through the walks, given that they have a time limit with clunky controls.

Yeah, but I really wanted to know that xD And why did they remove Globox Village? I guess 3DS is stronger than a DreamCast...

We have no idea why it got scrapped again. I think Ubisoft wants the Dreamcast version to die in the past, but we fans do not allow that.

To be honest, if Ubisoft plans in releasing again Rayman 2, please include the Globox Village and try to make an effort to add extras/improvements.

Yeah, they should stop recycling the same game over and over again, people's gonna get tired of seeing this game.I think next time I see one of those boring ports with no novelties,I'm gonna puke! It's not only that they don't have any novelty, they are even starting scrapping things!

It isn't like if I mind about releases of R2 but my issue is how Ubisoft fails to do a proper port. Just try to compare with the Ocarina of Time port for the 3DS that Nintendo did.
