Just reposting since we're on a new page.Master4lyf1 wrote:Here's the next trailer, this time based on the Worlds.

It seems they've missed out on mentioning the Longest Shortcut, Hoodlum HQ and Tower of The Leptys.
Though did anyone manage to catch a glimpse of HHQ during the montage of DoTK?
Also, 2D Nightmare music...
That music is from the 2D Nightmare minigame, the one we've been trying to unlock for a while, and someone finally did.
I wonder if it will finally be brought to the masses through R3HD, I doubt it, but time will tell.
Re: Rayman 3
I'll be honest, in the videos I don't see any graphical improvement but that's perhaps because it is just a video.

Re: Rayman 3
You know actually they made instead some anti improvements. XD Watch the first trailer of R3 HD and stop in the part where Rayman makes his grimage. And also stop in the part where Rayman gets the Missile suit.Haruka wrote:I'll be honest, in the videos I don't see any graphical improvement but that's perhaps because it is just a video.
I think rereleasing Rayman 3 in HD is very good because it allows younger gamers to play it on newer systems and get to know Rayman better. Its like Disney is releasing its classics on Blu Ray (and The Lion King even vent to cinemas again in 3D).
But rereleasing it full of glitches isnt so good.
By the way did someone tried the "Hoodmonger Bubblizing"?

Re: Rayman 3
You have to remember the game is still a WiP, I doubt Ubi would leave something as glaringly obvious as the grimace thing unresolved.
It's also interesting how Ubi is putting a lot more into promotional material for R3 HD than they have done with previous remakes/ports.

Re: Rayman 3
Look at the sea in the distance in the LotLD part of the trailer. It doesn't look enhanced at all! If something in an HD remake, the backgrounds would be something I'd expect to see remastered. Still, it's a real nice effort that UbiSoft is making here.
Re: Rayman 3
The only things that really bug me so far are the light reflections in the Bog of Murk (they appear on the platforms in front of the lights and water - even in the newest trailer) and that grimace. Hope they have fixed that.
The game is still a work in progress but they're releasing it in 6 days so they'd better fix the lights problem quick and the grimace too (if they haven't already).

Re: Rayman 3
Or they are maybe using original Rayman 3 footage.
We never know, I hope I can get the HD version soon.
By the way guys, I'm soon getting Rayman 3 for GBA. Lets see if in this Easter I can share some novelties about the Bonus levels of Rayman 3 GBA and the 2D Nightmare.

Re: Rayman 3
Rayman 3 for the GBA? Do you mean the one in which the robo-pirates are the main villains, with the hoodlums only in a tiny few levels? I have completed that with 100% multiple times. Is that the one (in combination with a GameCube version) required for 2D Nightmare?
If so, if any of you need a savegame, let me know (and tell me how I can upload it, if that's possible at all
).

Re: Rayman 3
I already have R3 for GBA and its AWENSOME! The body shot action should be in the future Rayman 3d games. The inflatable boss in the Pirate Stronghold had originally planned also for the console and PC versions but was removed. Thats shame because that lad was one of the funniest bosses in Rayman series.

They could always just release a patch later.Drolpiraat wrote:The game is still a work in progress but they're releasing it in 6 days so they'd better fix the lights problem quick and the grimace too (if they haven't already).
We still don’t know how 2D Nightmare is supposed to be unlocked.need my speed wrote:Is that the one (in combination with a GameCube version) required for 2D Nightmare?
Re: Rayman 3
I own the N-GAGE version that I've completed plenty number of times too, but it was since a good while I was sticking my eyes into a GBA copy. I perhaps will receive it this Tuesday.need my speed wrote:Rayman 3 for the GBA? Do you mean the one in which the robo-pirates are the main villains, with the hoodlums only in a tiny few levels? We don't know if Rayman 3 for GBA is indeed needed for the 2D Nightmare unlocking, but at least I know that if I connect the game to the GC version of R3HH I'll unlock bonus levels for the portable version, that do not exist in the N-GAGE version.
I'll share up some novelties later.

Re: Rayman 3
I've had Rayman 3 GBA since some time after it came out and I didn't have a gamecube at the time [neither did I bother to get a link cable when I did get one 2 years later] so I never mucked about with the linking and stuff, will be nice to see someone in the fandom experience it first hand though.
Re: Rayman 3
A patch? No way Ubisoft will do that. They didn't for BG&E HD either if I remember correctly.spiraldoor wrote:They could always just release a patch later.Drolpiraat wrote:The game is still a work in progress but they're releasing it in 6 days so they'd better fix the lights problem quick and the grimace too (if they haven't already).
Also, thanks to Haruka who sent me her PS2 demo for Rayman 3, we now have lots of new beta music.
Tower of the Leptys - Flying theme
Hoodlum theme - Can't stop listening to the beginning of this! Why the hell wasn't this in the final game!
Hoodlum theme - reprise
Even trippier Clearleaf Forest music than the last beta music
Boss fight music, I think, as it has...
... three...
... stages.
Thanks again, Haruka! ^^

Bloody hell, that track is amazing! It almost reminds me of Paper Mario in the latter half.Drolpiraat wrote:Hoodlum theme - Can't stop listening to the beginning of this! Why the hell wasn't this in the final game!
