Music improved? Really?

But the most important for me : I hope new players discover Rayman 3 or discover again :D

When I compare the screenshot i'm not certain...

I participated in the chat session where the developers said that and yeah, they were definitely serious.

Audio and music have NOT, and I repeat, NOT been improved. Still the same old 22khz audio. So that's just some false advertising like they did with BG&E HD. ;)

Oh, well shucks Ubisoft. I swear the introduction music was touched up, but that might have been my hopeful imagination going along with the improved visuals during.

We can admit that we couldn't expect a lot from Ubisoft Shanghai knowing the problems that Rayman Rush also had.

The PlayStation version of Rayman 2 was an outstanding adaptation and I believe it was developed by Ubi Shanghai though.

It only had a problem: sometimes the audio was missing at certain points/actions in the game, but the chances of this glitch being triggered was more minor than the same glitch in Rayman Rush, often triggered by robot characters. In the other hand, the PlayStation 1 was a good port of Rayman 2.

Most of my posts about Rayman 3 HD scoring from the past few days, thanks to Google Cache:
Newray wrote:What I meant is the score counter for the level total. In the original versions of R3 the per-level counter would stop if you got to 99999, and the trick was to use the largest fitting combo before reaching that limit and you'd have the theoretical maximum. Because thereafter, the counter stopped working but you did have a 6-digit score for the level total.

In this HD remake (or at least on X360), they apparently got rid of this limit. I used a large combo in TLOTLD as I did back in the day, 'outscored' the counter, and the new 00000 counter that appeared wasn't stuck! It counted all new points including those in the skating part thereafter.

What Haruka means is something I can't confirm, but I know about the issue. Sometimes getting gems in a specific order would stuck the whole combo, making you gain nothing for it. All I know is that it didn't occur to me in this playthrough. I outscored the combo counter several times, including in the first combo of TOTL. And in TLS I always got yellow first, then green.

So I believe the 'stuck combo' issue is fixed. But I'm no expert, so someone else has to confirm by trying some combo's. ;)

Thanks! That's the one I missed! Your list of 40 is complete btw, I recognize all the others. Got 200 gamerscore for this game now. :D

The achievement popped right up for me! Remember that every Green gem/Matuvu/Tribelle is checked and saved right after getting it, so you don't necessarily have to finish the whole chapter or level. I suggest you'd double check the list to see which one you might've missed.

My score is improved at 668266 and I'm 2nd in the leaderboards now (after being 1st since launch day). :P

Rayrobi wrote:And i'm 3rd at the ranklist. :D But for some reason, a glitch occured when i restarted a level, my TTOTL score decreased with 50000 points from 90000!!! What the hell was going on?
That's indeed a serious glitch in this port, more players reported this and it happened to me one time.

I was replaying HHQ and after completion, the HHQ score I gained was 'copied' to TTOTL as well, which screwed the total score. The leaderboards weren't affected since those only record your highest score gained no matter which savefile you play, but you'd have to replay TTOTL to get to your previous total again. I luckely had a cloud-saved copy of my progress so I fell back on that after the glitch occured, but it sure is annoying. :|

Rayrobi wrote:Now i have to figure out how to get the Coin-op Gamer. Due to that i've completed all minigames and it's still locked.
You don't even have to complete all of them (I did however), it will unlock once you've entered all of them at least once.

I suggest you play every minigame in line in one sitting, from 2D madness all the way to Commando. Whether you lose or win doesn't matter, it'll sure pop up! It did for me as soon as I started up Commando. ;)

Of course. They're not even mine, I only made the R3 Teensie icon from a R3 menu screenshot, the rest was already used in other siggies. :)

Like my star icon. :mefiant: But no problem. :'D

Anyway i just reached 110000 points in the Land of the Livid Dead, but i'm a bit far from my new goal yet, that is 700000 points! I will improve in Hoodlum Headquarters and in the Summit beyond the Clouds, where i have 69000 and 64000 points.
