Then i know who has been prevented me before tha "xX ??? [[what you have wrote]]" gamer. :fou: Anyway i'm at 616000 ( with the exception of 50000 points i earned before in TTOTL ); i improved in HHQ: 89000 points.
That glitch happened to me 1 time too. Apparently replaying HHQ will make the game 'copy' that score to TTOTL, don't know how to prevent that. It didn't happen to other levels that I replayed (FC, CF, TBOM, TLS). And your HHQ score is higher than mine. I did improve my TTOTL score to 92000, compared to my original GameCube score of 85000 or something like that.
Actually my TTOTL score is exactly the same as my TLS score. xD So i was wrong before.

Wait, then how do you know about the scores in the Xbox version?

I thought you had the console. :P

Probably because I pointed out that the highest X360 score was over 800.000. Hunch said the highest PS3 score was 590,000. Mine and Rayrobi's X360 scores are higher than that, which overally means X360 has higher scores at the moment.

Basically, you can do this forever. It's unbelievably tedious, but it gave the game an additional strategic element back in the day. I think I am the person who got the most points doing that trick.

Don't know about that XX-person. Could be DTUCC, he loved to change nicknames back in the day. Could be some really dedicated gamer. Could also be some cheater. We don't know how cheater-proof the HD version is.

Thanks for the heads-up. It's true that it kinda ruins the game without a score limit; however, at a rate of 30 points every 20 seconds I don't know who would be crazy enough to do it. Hopefully, this trick won't be used and Rayman 3 HD will open the way to a race to the very best score, without any limits, which I still find a great idea.

It's unlikely anyone will ever go for some ridiculous score like 300000 in SBTC or something, but getting 20000 takes maybe 3 hours. Thus getting scores in the 130000-150000 range actually doesn't take much effort, yet it shifts the balance of scoring considerably. I think we can trust the core of players here at RPC to not exploit the trick in order to boost the score in SBTC to unprecedented heights; but taking outsiders' scores at face value may be difficult.

Also, the snowboard level as a whole is very glitchy. There may be other ways to gain a ridiculous boost that we don't know about. The 100000-limit devalued such discoveries.

Unfortunately I doubt that. I know how some Xbox 360 'Leaderboard Hookers' behave and some have literally spend full days on repeatitive gameplay just to gain a top position. This includes leaderboards for multiplayer games, where there are 'boosting parties' that only 'play' with each other while mindlessly repeating the same actions over and over, JUST to gain a top position in the leaderboards.

The luck we have with R3 however, is the rather 'obscure' community we are. I don't think many evil leaderboard hookers will have time to visit here and find the trick, and they clearly haven't got the time and skill to find it themselves. :hehe:

Hello there.. since i dont actually know where to post this other than in this very topic i will just introduce myself (again)..
i played r3 a long time ago (probably around 6 years) back when there still was raymanzone thus i recognize a lot of faces that are still present in this forum (under a current id though). i have recently started to play it again just because i remembered it to be awesome, instantly got hooked again and am currently playing it like crazy. Though, im not very good and i finished my first walkthrough without real efforts (i didnt even know most of the secrets so i didnt get those points). My highscore back in the days was 425k which i aim to beat very soon. :)
I like the atmosphere here, but i will likely not post a lot, im more of a forum lurker and i just wanted to share with you my current scores and perhaps get some tips on where to go next as im about to finish CLF. I didnt read through mandm's guide for the most points so all of the combos i did were self-made (perhaps with some influence by the awesome YT-videos you guys did!) and it was incredibly fun :>

i already redid FC, TLS (briefly) and now CLF.
FC 27,5k
CLF 102k!, im in the funkyboard-level now and have 95k. <-- ok just finished it with the green gem in combo, more wasnt possible :)
BOM 19k
TLOTLD 50k
DOTK 32k
TLS 35k
TSBTC 24k
HH 57k
TTOTL 48k

Welcome to PC, Sajiki! ;) Why don't you try the Land of the Livid Dead? It's probably the level where the maximum score is the easiest to obtain, so even if you don't aim for it you might get a fairly decent score by following the tutorials in the first messages of this topic.

As concerns the leaderboards from Rayman 3 HD, I would like to add them to the Hall of Fame, under a different category though. I'll see with Ubisoft if something can be done about it. :)

Welcome here Sajiki! Enjoy your stay!

That 102k is a very good score! I could just earn 91k, but soon that'll be more. :mryellow:

Anyway, Hunch, is it possible to edit someone's score with just a simple rewriting? Because soon i will earn about 700000, but i'm on xbox 360, so i can't upload it by myself with a code.

As I said above, we will not merge the leaderboards for Rayman 3 HD and the original version, as it is possible to get much higher scores in the former.

Tell me, How?

But also, if you don't merge them, then i suppose i won't be recieving the plus 5000 tings if i earn 700000 points.

There's no score limit in the levels. You can read the previous posts for more information.
