Cameos discussion
Hey Guys, for this topic, I thought it would be a great idea to discuss the camos that appear in the Rayman series; and maybe even ones we'd like to. For example, there's both Betalla and Mr. Dark who return to Rayman Origins; Admiral Razorbeard, who makes a slight reference in Rayman 3; and Globox, who's been in all games to date (except Rayman 1 and Rabidds)
Also, rayman doesn't count as cameo...

Re: Cameos discussion
IIRC, Rayman walks on grassy surfaces at multiple points in every game to date.

Are you sure you understand the meaning of the word 'cameo', Max?

Re: Cameos discussion
Mr. Dark has been in every Rayman game (main series) bar 2, though 2 mentions him in the manual.
1-Main Villain
2-Manual mentions him
3-Cameo in Rayman's bungalo in 2d madness

Re: Cameos discussion
The Bubble Dreamer also mentions Mr Dark if you pull on his beard while playing as Bad Rayman.

Re: Cameos discussion
Mosquitoes also appear in all four Rayman games. In the first it's rather obvious, in the second you can see them flying around, in the third you can see them if you enter 2D Madness, and in Origins, it's obvious again.

That's strange, I never noticed that one. I'll have to check it out next time I'm in the game.Sabertooth1000000000 wrote:The Lividstone on the plum posts in 3.

In the hidden burrow boss fight of Rayman Raving Rabbids GBA there are several skulls lying about that belonged to livingstones.

Don't you want to replace your sig's images? Because they can't been seen. Or is this problem only for me?

Re: Cameos discussion
I have the GIFS on a Flash Drive, but I can't find it to re-upload and fix them.
As soon as I find the Flash Drive that issue will be a thing of the past.

I saw the Hoodlums picture that parodies the "Usual Suspects" in a picture frame in the credits of Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party.

That's something I never noticed! You should get a screenshot.Haruka wrote:I saw the Hoodlums picture that parodies the "Usual Suspects" in a picture frame in the credits of Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party.
Rayman 3 HD had some cameos. The rayman 2 styled save files, and a rayman 1 icon for the menu.

Re: Cameos discussion
Not sure if this counts as a cameo or a homage, but enemies bubbling and floating up and away is a reference to how enemies in Rayman 1 would fly up when you defeated them.
