Also I answered your question on the previous page if you're interested.

Ah yes, I noticed. So is this blur also something that effects your stereoscopic view, as in, do you have to wear glasses to see properly, or does the non-blur of your left eye correct the blur of your right, while the colour of your right eye corrects the desaturation of the left?

Re: Off Topic
Sort of the latter if I'm not concentrating too hard. You know how brains are, they create illusions - in this case good ones albeit - instead of taking the time to process what your eyes are actually seeing. However if I actually take note of the fact that I have eyeballs, then everything goes wonky and I'm seeing confusing greyscale/coloured overlays. All the glasses do is fix the blur.Shrooblord wrote:Ah yes, I noticed. That's really strange. I don't use REAKTOR, so I can't help you too much, but I can if you're able to tell me what "base" (I don't know the right word) the synths use. For example, all of Logic's sampled instruments (non-synths) are run off of ESX24, whereas their synths are either sculpted within the software or they are processed using something else.Shrooblord wrote:Yes, you see, the thing is, the pan with the regular mixer works fine for the 'normal' VSTs, say, Komplete, but when I use the 'synthesizer library' from REAKTOR, the whole mixer dials have absolutely no effect on the instruments whatsoever, also not volume or panning. I'm quite surprised this doesn't seem to be documented anywhere...

Re: Off Topic
I'm not sure I understand what you mean. REAKTOR has multiple libraries in it, such as one called 'Photone'. Some of the instruments have a base sine wave that you could edit into whatever the program has regarding other sounds, if that's what you mean. The base of all synth waves in REAKTOR seems to be a simple sine wave.

In other news:
NOOOOOO!!! Why did Raytunes have to go into maintenance at the very day I wanted to download the soundtrack for Origins so I could put it on my DSi (because the official soundtrack is actually incomplete)?!

So, did the GamingTV interview go well? I’m halfway through at the moment. I can’t understand a word, but I can’t stop listening either...
Re: Off Topic
If I knew French I would have participated.

Re: Off Topic
Does anyone know how to type the weird emoticon that people sometimes use as a response to something creepy? It looks similar to @_@, except the symbol used for the eyes is different, with sort of pointy eyebrows. This drives me crazy; it’s impossible to type, and I can never find it when I’m looking for it. It was part of El Dango’s signature about three years ago. Anyone?
