Re: Rayman 2
If anyone is interested to buy Rayman Revolution for PS2, PAL version and Platinum edition, you guys can send me a PM. The reason I'm selling it is to own already an extra copy.
Re: Rayman 2
Sorry, I have it
If a friend of mine would have a ps2, he sure would buy it

Re: Rayman 2
I got it off PSN a few weeks ago and I'm loving it. I'm up to the Echoing Caves. I got it on PC ages ago but it didn't work and I lost it but now I have it it is awesome. The Canopy is my favourite level so far.

PSN has the PS1 version, which has many differences compared to the main PC, N64 and DC versions, just be warned, in case you move onto another version.Yoshidude99 wrote:I got it off PSN a few weeks ago and I'm loving it. Re: Rayman 2
Speaking of changes, I didn't realise that the final battle was completely different until I saw a video of it about a moth ago. I need to play that version, since it's the only version I haven't played. Aside from that, the Dreamcast is the only version I haven't played all the way through or beaten 100%.Master4lyf1 wrote:PSN has the PS1, which has many differences compared to the main PC, N64 and DC versions.Yoshidude99 wrote:I got it off PSN a few weeks ago and I'm loving it. Re: Rayman 2
I've been playing some more Revolution again. I'm a bit disappointed about a few more things now:
-They removed or replaced some puzzle events that needn't have been changed, such as the opening of the door in the Sanctuary of Rock and Lava (AKA 'Beneath the Lava Sanctuary' in Rev) where there's a Nettle and a timer switch and there's only one specific way to solve it: spam the attack key and time your movements right.
-Lunette shows up in the battle with the Boss Biditank. Now at first, I wasn't disappointed, because Lunette is awesome and I love him, but then he performed another such attacks that I had planned for him to use in my own game, proving once more that Revolution already includes most of the ideas I wanted to add to the Rayman franchise.
-Some areas have been completely remodelled or resequenced, but in a bad way.
-The Pirates still die in one or two shots, except the red ones, who are real monsters.
Then there's some more things I like about it:
-The extra scenery in all the levels is usually gorgeous.
-I like the massive Pirate attacks, but sometimes they're a bit much.
-Some areas have been remodelled and resequenced, in a positive way.
-The introduction of new characters and enemies.
-Some more Eric Chevalier music.
I reached the end of the Lava Sanctuary before I quit. So far, this is the opinion I have about most of the game.

I am stuck on Echoing Caves. On the bit just after the first Keg part there is a door I can't open.

Re: Rayman 2
The part where you have to collect the two orbs that open the door, before Jano comes in like CHICKEN I'M GONNA EAT YOU
This explains why

Re: Rayman 2
Okay, think about how much more terrifying Knaaren are.
Those things never leave the room where they spawn though, so don't worry about them following you. Only one may creep into the cavern leading to the orbs but it always goes back just as fast.

I know, and that's comforting, it's just going through the room that's a problem. |D But I will try again at some point

By the way, MLII, why not consider how fluffy they are? They're all fuzzily and puffy like fluffballs and kittens! Don't you just want to hug that? Awww... too bad about the face though, but you can always just not look.
Seriously though, you could just attack spam them to keep them at a distance, but I believe I already gave you some advice a while back, back to that same date to which that link of yours leads. Just reread that I guess. I noticed I called Rulez a Henchman 800 on the next page, probably confusing the name with Hunch's, and thus probably confusing him with Hunch... for some reason.

Re: Rayman 2
The easy way to get past those things is to just throw an orb from the ledge.
