Re: Rayman 1
I feel like I need to brush upon my platforming skills on Rayman, it's the only Rayman game now that I haven't managed to reach at least close to the end of the game. Perhaps all of that skill I've acquired from beating RO will come in handy...
Re: Rayman 1
It might help, but still Rayman 1 requires some control mastering to do certain moves, and to survive during gameplay.
The worst part of the game is Space Mama's Crater, but by passing this level the worst is gone.

Re: Rayman 1
Though don't underestimate what's left, whilst nothing will level on the challenge that Space Mama's Crater provided, there will be many difficult challenges ahead, particularly at Eat at Joes.
Re: Rayman 1
I think the biggest issue of that level is the Sabertooth fish. But you can dodge it easily by being ducked or just throwing a fist in the correct timing.

Re: Rayman 1
I know it's going to take a really long time for me to even get past the first world, let alone the rest of the game. I'm actually pretty abysmal at the game, last time I played it (Some time in January I think), I only managed to get through the first section you're put in. Yeah, I'm that bad.
I now have a challenge to complete. Before I die, I will beat this game... But don't quote me on that.

Re: Rayman 1
Funny thing is I was in the same situation with Rayman Revolution and Rayman 3 probably about 5 years ago or so. I couldn't get past the Fairy Glade in Revolution, and The Bog of Murk was about as far as I could get in Hoodlum Havoc. And then a miracle occurred. Somehow I stopped sucking at both of the games!Master4lyf1 wrote:Don't give up!

Man, this brings back happy memories. I need to get my PS2 fixed ASAP, there are games that need to be relived.

Hah, I beat Rayman when I was four in one year, two months after Rayman 2 was released.

Does anyone have a good copy of this image from the credits of the PC version? It’s Joe’s firefly on holiday. I’ve never seen it before.
I also find it interesting that this version has a list of voice actors which differs from that of the PS1 version: in addition to the widely-known cast of Douglas Rand, Chris Benard, Emmanuelle Cosso and Steven Perkinson, it mentions the names of Mitsuyuki Bando, Patrice Dozier and Christian Stonner, and also seems to suggest that Cosso was the lead in some way.

I'm still trying now. I might get upset when I finish it though since it is my childhood.Master4lyf1 wrote:Don't give up!

Re: Rayman 1
Didn't I already add that on to Raywiki some time ago? I've forgotten, I might have just removed it from the Betilla page without giving reason. According to the manual to Rayman Junior, she's the voice acting director and not a voice actorspiraldoor wrote:..also seems to suggest that Cosso was the lead in some way.

Re: Rayman 1
Does the Rayman Junior manual give any more information about the voice actors? So far, we know that Perkinson voiced Rayman, but that’s about it.
